“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?” Leo screamed, his voice lacing with anger as a frown crawled on his face.
Leo rushed into the partially destroyed kiosk with Jason drawing the attention of the wild boar. “Leo, be careful,” Jason said, as he watched Leo enter the kiosk, full of anger. “I hope he does not take any rash decision,” he whispered to himself, worried. “Come here, you demonic creature!” Jason began to attack the wild boar. “Impact: Windy fist,” he said, releasing a powerful gust of wind, which was shaped as a fist. Meanwhile, Leo who entered into the building, searched for the baker. “Miss Timmy,” he called out, as he passed through the serving area and into the baking area. The surrounding was dusty and dark. Little by little, the kiosk fell. From the woods holding the kiosk, to the ceiling, the bakery crumbled. “Miss Timmy, please answer me,” Leo called, as he coughed affected by the dust. “Curse that wild boar.” Suddenly, Leo stumbled on a broken glass and he mistakenly stepped on it. “Shit!” he exclaimed, holding onto the bleeding at the underside of his feet. After a few seconds, he heard coughs at a distance. He stood still for some seconds and closed his eyes, using his senses to trace the coughs. “That must be Miss Timmy,” he murmured, horridly walking to the where he sensed her aura from. He lighted his finger with fire, using his magical power. He maneuvered his way through the dark and dusty place and he found Timmy lying on the ground, an iron rod stuck on her left thigh. Leo’s heart sank as he witnessed the shocking sight. “MISS TIMMY!” he screamed as he ran over to her. Timmy’s voice was low as she breathed heavily. “Are… are you one of the sorcerers that were here earlier today?” she asked, her eyes fluttering. “Don’t force yourself to talk, you need to see a doctor,” Leo said as he stared at her thigh. “How do I remove this rod without hurting her,” he thought to himself as he bent over at her thigh, setting his hands on the iron rod. As he made an attempt to pull out the rod, Timmy screamed in pain. “I’m sorry but you have to bear with me. We need to get out of this place before it falls completely,” Leo spoke. “Clover: Rapid Healing.” Leo cast a rapid healing spell on her thigh as he drew out the rod. Although it won’t heal the wound, it would stop the bleeding for a minimal amount of time. Timmy screamed but there was nothing he could do about the pain she felt. All that mattered was they had to leave the kiosk before it completely fell. “Put your hand over my shoulder, let’s go,” Leo said as he slowly lifted Timmy up from the ground. She groaned in pain as she placed her hand over Leo’s shoulder. They slowly walked out of the kiosk as Timmy leaped. As soon as they came out, the kiosk collapsed completely. “We’re safe,” sighed Leo as he helped Timmy seat outside. “I’ll be right back. I need to assist Jason.” He tore a piece of his cloth and he wrapped around her thigh, where the bleeding was. “Thank you, uhm..” “Leo. My name is Leo,” Leo said, as Timmy smiled at him warmly. Leo ran towards the fight between Jason and the wild boar, but he saw the unexpected. “Was that not meant to be a boar? How can it be on it’s two feet?” he said, surprised. Jason was on one of his knees, breathing heavily. He was bleeding. “Leo be careful,” Jason stuttered. “He’s not an ordinary boar.” “Yes, I can see that,” Leo responded as he drew his sword. Leo charged towards the boar, but before he could take a strike, the boar activated an invisible barrier. “Weak,” the boar talk. “It talks!” Leo exclaimed, more surprised than before. “You humans are so weak,” the boar repeated. It brought out it’s palm and created a spherical fire ball. Which it shot toward Leo. “LEO!” Jason rose his voice, worried. “Deflect: Waterfall,” Leo said, creating a water wall. The boar’s fireball stroked the water wall but it was too strong. Although its power was reduced, it still bruised Leo. “It’s so strong, “said Leo as he groaned in pain. Jason slowly got on his feet and walked up to Leo. “Stand back,” he said, placing his hand on his shoulder and standing in front of him. “Almighty push: Hell Destruction,” Jason said, trapping the boar in a flary furnace, filled with fire. “So cool,” Leo whispered, fancying Jason’s level of magic prowess. After releasing the attack, Jason fell to the ground, panting. He had used up all his magic. “Jason,” said Leo as he walked up to him and bent over. “Are you alright?” “Yes. Yes, I am. At least we have dealt with the-” “Weak, very weak,” the boar said, walking out of the furnace. “Humans are so weak.” Leo and Jason did not mutter a word. They glared at the unaffected boar. “It did not have any effect on him, shit,” Jason said, as a frown grew on his face. The boar walked towards them, but Jason was too exhausted and weak to do anything. Leo was still. A lot of thoughts ran through his head. “Humans are weak. Get Leo. You are Leo,” the boar said as it stood in front of Leo and Jason. “Wait, how does it know-” Jason paused after seeing the expression on Leo’s face. Leo was scared. “Jason is very strong and the fire attack was strong but the boar is still unaffected. Now, Jason is exhausted. How do I fight this thing? Should I call Master Varrick and Master Darwin, but they would be disappointed,” Leo thought, sweat dripping down his face. “But wait, how does it know my name? Is it part of the people who killed my mom?” “Eradicate Leo, the inhumane child,” the boar repeated as it smirked cunningly.Leo stared at the boar, frightened. A lot of thoughts went through his head. “Inhumane child? What a rude thing to say,” said Jason, snaring at the boar. “Eradicate Leo like his mother was eradicated,” the boar spoke, smiling cunningly. Leo gazed at the boar and after it mentioned the death of his mother, he felt a surge of fury burst from him. The smirk on it’s face, made him more infuriated. “Disgusting,” Leo whispered as his fingernails got buried into his palms. Leo’s eyes became blue, his magical aura became very strong. “What’s this aura?” Jason questioned as he saw Leo’s other side. The boar could feel the strong aura coming from Leo. Its smirk turned into a frown. It knew that the Leo he had faced before is now different. It took a step backward and released the same attack he used against Leo. But this time, Leo’s water wall was more powerful. The boar was surprised. It tried to release the attack a second time, thinking that Leo’s defense was just a fluke. “Infinit
“Finally, I can get back home and rest my head.” Lucas came out of the store where he worked as a part-time cleaner, he was done for the day and wanted to head back home to rest his head. There wasn't much for him to do when he got back home, he had to rest his head. He had five jobs for the next day, “After all that work I need to get a day to sit down and relax. But if I do that then I will be down on payment and stuff. The last thing I want is that stupid landlord to come and throw me out on the streets like I can't do anything.” Lucas kicked an empty can as he walked down the street. He let out a defeated sigh as he kept walking. “Who am I kidding? The man will make sure that I don't even find another house in the city, I have to make sure I don't lose everything I have as a home.” Lucas was not the type of person that would sit back and enjoy a day off. He had been alone since his high school days, he was what people would call a total loser. All of his peers had somethi
Leo was struggling to break free from the orb that he was trapped in. He didn't know how he was going to be able to find a way out of it. Then he heard a massive explosion. Leo turned to see the smoke cloud forming where his house once stood. He was petrified when he realized that the cloud meant that his mother was no more, and he was all that was left of his family. Tears welled up in Leo's eyes, he was looking at the smoke cloud as they kept rising. “Mom, please no.” Leo's words were cut with sobs, “I couldn't do anything to save her, even in this world I am a weak pathetic being.” Leo sat down as the orb carried him away from the scene, looking at their house lying in destruction. The only thing Leo could think of was his past life and when he was still a high schooler. He lived all his life running from everyone and everything, he didn't want to be part of anything. In his former life, he had the name Lucas. He was a frail child neglected by the older people and bullied b
Leo felt a surge of energy going through his body. He was not familiar with that amount of power. Leo was originally bigger and stronger than most children in Lyron, he was some kind of different breed. But Leo never questioned his strength, he was born with it and there was nothing about it that had made him question anything. But it was a bit different now, he had awakened something within him, and he was going to be using his powers to make sure that he didn't die. Leo got up, he was looking at the Orc Bear with pure rage in his eyes and there was no way he would be letting the creature land another blow on him like that. “What is this feeling?” Leo looked at his body. Although it was covered in wounds, he could feel energy and power coming from it. He looked at the Orc Bear as it prepared to charge at him one last time. He didn't know what he was going to do. The Orc Bear charged faster than before, but Leo didn't move this time. “Come on! Show me what you can do!” Leo l
Where Leo’s home stood, a crater was formed and there was no sign of life anywhere close to it. There was no way anyone would have survived an explosion that massive. Above the crater, three beings were hovering there. They resembled the ones that had attacked Leo’s home. “So they failed to bring in Abigail and the core. I wonder what they were thinking when they tried to face Abigail. Did they forget that she was the same person who fought with Vallin? I don't even know why I was stupid enough to let them go for her when I knew that I could have come on my own.” “You thought that there was going to be a chance that they wouldn't slip up, there was nothing there to tell you that you were sending fools to fight in a battle with a warrior you got a scar from. But for her to use a forbidden spell, it meant that she was trying to hide something from us. She also made sure that she killed the three useless soldiers we sent for her. There is no telling what might have been the secret s
Leo was looking at Darwin. He would never have imagined that there was a chance he would meet someone who knew his mother. Leo was looking at Darwin, he was trying to make sure that he didn't even make a mistake. “You knew my mother? You called her name. Do you know her?” Darwin rubbed his head, he didn't even know what he was going to do. He looked at the boy in front of him. He didn't know what he was going to do to make Leo stop asking questions. “If you ask me any other questions I might blow my head away, but there is no way for me to do that.” Darwin looked at Leo. He knew that the boy was still confused and everything was happening all too fast. Leo saw that Darwin was a bit stressed out. He noticed that all his wounds were healed and closed. He was in good condition, and he knew that the man in front of him might have been the one that made sure of that. “Sorry, I don't know what to do, and it's been a strange ride for the past few hours for me. Please tell me how yo
Leo was filled with hope, knowing that there would be a chance for him to become a stronger warrior and make sure he changed his life. “Master Darwin, if I am not mistaken, you also knew my father, right?” Leo smiled as he looked at Darwin. He wanted to learn more about his family before his training began. Darwin looked at Leo, the sad young man he had seen a few minutes ago had vanished, and he was looking at a boy who had hope, and he was going to do anything to make sure that he didn't fall back into depression. “Yes, I knew your father, he was one of the funniest fellows I met. He had a temper, a very nasty one, but when we got to talk to him, it was clear that he was a good guy. But even before we found out that he was a good guy, your mother would always be the one to knock some sense into him.” Darwin smiled as he was telling Leo about his parents. It was a clear sign that he had enjoyed his time with his old companions. Something that would always comfort him. Leo cou
“What do you mean by explode? There has to be an explanation for this, there is no way he is going to explode!” Darwin was looking at Varrick. He was a bit confused on hearing that Leo was going to explode if he tried to break the seal without training. “It means the seal that Abigail put on him is even stronger than a grade five scarlet core seal. For some reason, she wanted to make sure that he was not going to find it easy breaking the seal.” Varrick was looking at Leo. The boy was going to have a hard time thinking about breaking the seals, and it was going to be the hardest thing he could imagine doing. “You mean Abigail used that kind of spell on her son? But what was her reason for even putting it on him? I know that there were people after her, but then that means that there has to be something else she didn't drop in that message.” Darwin was not going to be thinking of what he was going to be doing that quickly. He had promised Leo that he would train him to break the se
