CHAPTER 24: MUTATED BOAR

“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?” Leo screamed, his voice lacing with anger as a frown crawled on his face.

Leo rushed into the partially destroyed kiosk with Jason drawing the attention of the wild boar.

“Leo, be careful,” Jason said, as he watched Leo enter the kiosk, full of anger.

“I hope he does not take any rash decision,” he whispered to himself, worried. “Come here, you demonic creature!”

Jason began to attack the wild boar.

“Impact: Windy fist,” he said, releasing a powerful gust of wind, which was shaped as a fist.

Meanwhile, Leo who entered into the building, searched for the baker.

“Miss Timmy,” he called out, as he passed through the serving area and into the baking area. The surrounding was dusty and dark. Little by little, the kiosk fell. From the woods holding the kiosk, to the ceiling, the bakery crumbled.

“Miss Timmy, please answer me,” Leo called, as he coughed affected by the dust. “Curse that wild boar.”

Suddenly, Leo stumbled on a broken glass and he mistakenly stepped on it.

“Shit!” he exclaimed, holding onto the bleeding at the underside of his feet.

After a few seconds, he heard coughs at a distance. He stood still for some seconds and closed his eyes, using his senses to trace the coughs.

“That must be Miss Timmy,” he murmured, horridly walking to the where he sensed her aura from.

He lighted his finger with fire, using his magical power. He maneuvered his way through the dark and dusty place and he found Timmy lying on the ground, an iron rod stuck on her left thigh.

Leo’s heart sank as he witnessed the shocking sight.

“MISS TIMMY!” he screamed as he ran over to her.

Timmy’s voice was low as she breathed heavily.

“Are… are you one of the sorcerers that were here earlier today?” she asked, her eyes fluttering.

“Don’t force yourself to talk, you need to see a doctor,” Leo said as he stared at her thigh.

“How do I remove this rod without hurting her,” he thought to himself as he bent over at her thigh, setting his hands on the iron rod.

As he made an attempt to pull out the rod, Timmy screamed in pain.

“I’m sorry but you have to bear with me. We need to get out of this place before it falls completely,” Leo spoke. “Clover: Rapid Healing.”

Leo cast a rapid healing spell on her thigh as he drew out the rod. Although it won’t heal the wound, it would stop the bleeding for a minimal amount of time.

Timmy screamed but there was nothing he could do about the pain she felt. All that mattered was they had to leave the kiosk before it completely fell.

“Put your hand over my shoulder, let’s go,” Leo said as he slowly lifted Timmy up from the ground.

She groaned in pain as she placed her hand over Leo’s shoulder. They slowly walked out of the kiosk as Timmy leaped. As soon as they came out, the kiosk collapsed completely.

“We’re safe,” sighed Leo as he helped Timmy seat outside. “I’ll be right back. I need to assist Jason.”

He tore a piece of his cloth and he wrapped around her thigh, where the bleeding was.

“Thank you, uhm..”

“Leo. My name is Leo,” Leo said, as Timmy smiled at him warmly.

Leo ran towards the fight between Jason and the wild boar, but he saw the unexpected.

“Was that not meant to be a boar? How can it be on it’s two feet?” he said, surprised.

Jason was on one of his knees, breathing heavily. He was bleeding.

“Leo be careful,” Jason stuttered. “He’s not an ordinary boar.”

“Yes, I can see that,” Leo responded as he drew his sword.

Leo charged towards the boar, but before he could take a strike, the boar activated an invisible barrier.

“Weak,” the boar talk.

“It talks!” Leo exclaimed, more surprised than before.

“You humans are so weak,” the boar repeated.

It brought out it’s palm and created a spherical fire ball. Which it shot toward Leo.

“LEO!” Jason rose his voice, worried.

“Deflect: Waterfall,” Leo said, creating a water wall.

The boar’s fireball stroked the water wall but it was too strong. Although its power was reduced, it still bruised Leo.

“It’s so strong, “said Leo as he groaned in pain.

Jason slowly got on his feet and walked up to Leo.

“Stand back,” he said, placing his hand on his shoulder and standing in front of him.

“Almighty push: Hell Destruction,” Jason said, trapping the boar in a flary furnace, filled with fire.

“So cool,” Leo whispered, fancying Jason’s level of magic prowess.

After releasing the attack, Jason fell to the ground, panting. He had used up all his magic.

“Jason,” said Leo as he walked up to him and bent over. “Are you alright?”

“Yes. Yes, I am. At least we have dealt with the-”

“Weak, very weak,” the boar said, walking out of the furnace. “Humans are so weak.”

Leo and Jason did not mutter a word. They glared at the unaffected boar.

“It did not have any effect on him, shit,” Jason said, as a frown grew on his face.

The boar walked towards them, but Jason was too exhausted and weak to do anything.

Leo was still. A lot of thoughts ran through his head.

“Humans are weak. Get Leo. You are Leo,” the boar said as it stood in front of Leo and Jason.

“Wait, how does it know-” Jason paused after seeing the expression on Leo’s face.

Leo was scared.

“Jason is very strong and the fire attack was strong but the boar is still unaffected. Now, Jason is exhausted. How do I fight this thing? Should I call Master Varrick and Master Darwin, but they would be disappointed,” Leo thought, sweat dripping down his face. “But wait, how does it know my name? Is it part of the people who killed my mom?”

“Eradicate Leo, the inhumane child,” the boar repeated as it smirked cunningly.
