012: Wrongly Accused

Levi trembled with anger. Sleeping on the floor for a week? Treatment stopped? What happened to the money Zoey collected for his father's treatment?

"Hey dude!" The young man pushed him. "Are you going to pay up or not? Your father is clearly not in the state to do so."

"How are you so sure it was my father that stole the money? He has been sleeping outside the ward for a week. How can he steal the money that was inside the ward?" Levi boiled as he spoke.

His father was at the critical stage of dementia and needed all the treatment he could get yet he was being maltreated this way.

"Dude, the ward's door was opened and besides, after I left to have a word with the doctor, it was only your father who was sitting outside here that could have stolen the money."

"Just pay up and don't delay this poor boy," The nurse added. The crowd also agreed thinking Levi should just pay what his father has stolen.

"I might not be filial like you," Levi pointed to the young man. "But I know my father wi
