"Hello, who's —" His words were interrupted harshly by Zoey's sharp tone.

"You left the house but couldn't take your poverty-stricken assets with you?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Oh, I forgot," Zoey laughed. "You only have four outfits which have faded due to excessive use right? Well, my mom has burnt your clothes. She didn't want any reminders of you in our house anymore."

"Is this why you called me?" Levi drawled in a bored tone.

He has a closet of designer clothes now so he isn't bothered about those outdated clothes he used to wear when he was still with Zoey.

The latter was taken aback by his indifferent tone. She thought back to the rumors she had heard and wondered if it was true.

Did this wretched man really find another woman so quick after their divorce? That too, a wealthy woman.

"Well, I only called to tell you my mother found this safe box which we assume to be yours. I stopped her from throwing it out but I won't guarantee her not trying tomorrow."
