"You assholes do this every single time," The blonde muttered underneath his breath, clearly annoyed as he brought out a wallet.

James slapped another ticket on his vehicle. The blonde's face reddened with anger but he didn't dare argue anymore.

He brought out about a hundred bucks and stuffed it into James' hand.

"Good. Next time pay attention to the traffic lights," James smiled as he canceled the tickets he'd previously written.

Then they all returned to their car. "Sir," Sam called out. "The driver almost got away while the lights were still green. We saw that clearly so why did you stop him?"

James chuckled and lit up a cigarette. He turned the steering wheel and drove away.

"I know. This is how we do everyday. I'm trying to show you how it is done when you officially resume your post."

"So watch and learn wisely. In no time, you'll catch up."

Sam nodded and exchanged a look with Levi. So this was what Will was talking about.
