In the quiet bedroom, a phone's loud chime disturbed the old couple tangled in bed. When the caller persisted, Luis sat up and switched on the bedside lamp.

He glanced at the clock and wondered who could be calling so late.

With a frown, he reached out and picked up his phone then answered the call without even looking at the caller ID.

"Hello—"

"Sir, the parents of the target have been found."

The drowsiness in Luis' eyes disappeared instantly. So that bastard has parents? He had imagined over and over again if his daughter really married an orphan.

That would have been a disgrace.

"Sir, his father is in the hospital in a critical condition and his mother... It seems his parents aren't together anymore but I've had my men working on it."

"When they complete their investigation, I'll let you know. I only wanted to inform you what we found."

Luis nodded. "I'll be waiting. If you have to increase manpower, do so. I want you to find out everything you can about him."
