208: Your Boss Promised

There was still no response and Levi was quite frustrated. He loosened the ropes around Lincoln and helped him to sit against the walls of the van.

Because the van was moving sideways a bit, they kept slipping and it took quite an effort to make him sit up against the wall.

"Lincoln," He called again, tapping his face.

The next minute, blood started to seep out of his nostrils, startling Levi. He was still unconscious.

"Oh no," Levi mumbled to himself. It seemed like the previous injuries that hadn't healed coupled with the hit earlier might have caused some sort of internal bleeding.

Levi now knew letting Lincoln out of the van was out of the question as his body obviously couldn't take any more injuries or he would collapse.

So as the van moved, Levi held him. His ring glinted slightly as the spiritual energy escaped from his body to Lincoln's.
