“When Cleo comes back, I'm going to tell her how much of an ass you were the entire time she was gone,” Elijah hissed.

“You do that.” He pointed, unbothered.

“Why are you even in my room?”

“Have you forgotten what day it is?” He asked, confused himself by Elijah's obtuse gaze.

“Oh fuck! It's Friday, isn't it?” He asked, jumping from his bed.

He was so deep into writing down strategies for getting the rest of the herbs that a week had passed without him even knowing.

“You're still obsessed with those scenarios?” Tobias asked, a little worried about the hyperfixation of his friend.
