Chapter 204

He washed his hands with the remaining saline. Feeling all eyes on him, he tried to look as usual and professional as possible. He knew it didn't take much for rumors of magicians to spread. After all, he wasn't a magician but a god.

Touching the boy's chest again, he closed his eyes and concentrated.

“What is he doing?” Someone asked.

“Perfume? Can I get a strong fragrance?” He asked.

“I have one.” A woman stepped forward.

“Spray it on his nose,” he ordered.

“What are you doing, man? That's a dead body, and you're breaking the law,” one of the paramedics said.

“Shut up! You couldn't save my son. He's about to do it. Leave him alone so he can concentrate.”

“Alright.” He threw his hand up in surrender.

The woman did as she was told and sprayed the perfume all over his nose.

He tried again, this time successfully blocking out the noise. His hand touched his life force, and his ring flared.

No one else saw it—no one except him.

His hand moved from his chest to the big wound behind him.
