Chapter Five

"I can feel his magic energy, he's the one who cast a spell on Rem,". Said Sussy. 

Surely they are not ordinary people, what do they want? 

"We are here for you," said Hacker. "Drop the girl and come with us," said cracker. "Should I drop Rem?" I asked.

 I thought about it, is it me they want then, why did they cast a spell on Rem I was curious, I asked, "What did you do to Rem?" 

I was showing a little bit of courage, since they want something with me I have the feeling they won't kill me. That gave me some spirit to chat with them. 

"Oh is that the girl I used my power on, that's really bad for her," said Hacker. 

"What did you do to her?" I asked. "I open a loop to trap her consciousness, relax because she's only sleeping. The only way to bring her back is to undo the spell," explained Hacker.

"Hacker, here is another berserker," said Cracker, pointing at Sussy. I was shocked because I knew Sussy hid her class. How did he know?  

"I didn't see the class she belongs to, I was wondering but when I observed very well I noticed her rage," explained Cracker. 

He was right when I looked at Sussy. She was in an angry state. I guess it was really hard for them to control themselves, she must have hated what they have done to Rem. I am glad she still hasn't attacked them for this will be a one sided match. 

"What do you want from me?" I asked. "To help you achieve your mission, our master summoned you here to join this war," explained Hacker. I kept wondering what he was talking about, he knows why I am here. 

"Listen, there are people who are opposing our master, some want Dominion power over everything, by killing our master one can gain such power the world have gone crazy, rumour has it that there is a way to erase magic, that's where you come in, you made a contract to fight along with our master," explained Hacker.

Everything started to come together right in my head, I remembered how I got here, when I was playing level up video game non stop, at some point I saw a bug in the game a notification pop up I was communicating with it I never knew it was real, yes I remembered coming into the game to stop them from erasing magic because I myself want to experience it, a new adventure. 

"What are they talking about Fejize, are you with them? Asked Sussy. I looked at Sussy. She had calmed down but was still looking mad. Things are just complicated, real complicated. 

"Yes, I remembered I am here because I want to experience adventure, I wish for a new life because the world I live in is boring. I wanted to feel magic," Fejize explained. "But I am still the same guy." I tried explaining myself to clear things with Sussy to show I am still with her. 

"Let us go," said Hacker. "Fix her, set Rem free," I said to Hacker. I was starting to get fired up, a lot has happened for the past hours, this wasn't what I wished for.

 "Are you commanding me? Make no mistake, don't get carried away just because we are inviting you. I can still kill you right now," said Hacker. 

I was staring at him angrily, Hacker smiled. It seems he's enjoying the look on my face, "If you want me to come with you, set her free," Fejize said. 

"Today, tomorrow, later it doesn't matter when we will bring you to the master right now what important to you is Rem, I just cast another magic spell on her if you don't find a way to undo her she will die after three days, to set her free you need to defeat me on a duel." That was the last thing Hacker said before he disappeared.  

With a lot of what is going on we forget about the actual game, time was running out. "Sussy, I forgot about the game, there's two hours remaining,". "Then let us keep moving," said Sussy. 

"I don't have a ring, so with Rem," said Fejize. "Are you forgetting I have 5 magic rings, I will give one to you and also with Rem," said Sussy. 

Yeah, I did see five rings with her. I am glad she didn't put it away like I wanted her to, I never imagined it would turn out this way. I was still holding Rem. We were in a haste walking to the end point before the time ran down.

On our way out we didn't encounter anyone, it was like we were the only one left, or everyone got killed. At that time Suho had already left the forest after killing Maki. 

"Marco, this is pointless, we have been here over an hour waiting for him aren't you tired?" Said Uxas. 

Uxas belongs to the same guild with Marco. Marco was the one I made I bet with. 

"I know he will come, I saw the look on his eyes when he challenged me," said Marco. "One hour left before the game ends, I bet he's already dead," said Uxas. 

"I am a man who likes to gamble a lot, two thousand coins that he will succeed," said Marco. 

When I made it out Marco was the first person I saw. I had completely forgotten about the bet, I fell down on my knees breathing so heavily. "Give me a break, from one drama to another, I am still not used to hard living," I said thinking, my head on the ground I held Rem so tight, all of a sudden I wanted to cry. 

"You made it, congratulations it seems you went through a lot," said Marco. I raised my head and I looked at Marco. He looks so cool along with his guild members. A notification popped up 

[ CONGRATULATIONS HERE IS YOUR REWARD ]. 

We were giving ten thousand coins as reward, the scenario end but another continues I have face Marco behind his slave I rest Rem on the floor I got up on my feet. I said, "I lost, and as_" "I will pay twenty thousand coins to buy off Fejize," Sussy interrupted. 

Sussy surprised me, again defending me. "Sussy, what are you doing?" I asked. "Saving Rem is more important to me than anything and I can't do it alone, please stay with me," Sussy replied. I looked at Rem "Sussy, I am sorry." 

"Even if he agrees I will spend from my coins,"

 "No," Sussy said, "I will want you to spend the coins on upgrading yourself. You must win a battle in three days." 

She's right, I need to power up if I am to have a chance with Hacker but the next scenario requires a lot of coins. 

"Hahaha" Marco burst into laughing, "this is getting interesting, 20,000 coins that's fair enough but I am not planning on making in my slave," said Marco. When he said that I felt the heavy load  on my shoulder disappear, being a slave in another world not the life I wish for. 

"He already made my day. I just won a bet against my very good friend here, Uxas, so we are good. I was only waiting to see how the weakling would make it out and I can see your power level up," said Marco. What a relief I felt, I appreciated him, he was going but stopped and turned back. "On a second thought I will need those coins." 

Sussy gave Marco the coins, 20000. Before he left I asked him if there is a way to undo the spell cast on Rem. He said there were two ways, either I kill the caster or I use a God tier magic to undo the spell. According to Marco having a god tier magic requires a lot of energy it will take years of training to gain such energy. 

I guess the only way is to defeat Hacker, although I was a little confused. The next scenario will start soon. How am I supposed to plan my battle with Hacker? We need to keep moving anyway, we need to get into the next city. The next scenario is very dangerous. 

The atmosphere changed, we were all alone, Rem and Sussy. The gravity became heavy, we couldn't move, we couldn't breathe. A portal opened. Someone came through from the portal, he was in armor. Altair, that was his name, and then came another. 

"Where is she?" Altair asked. They came for Rem, right there, at that spot we were just looking as Altair picked up Rem. Sussy was trying so hard to resist, she wanted to move but the gravity was stronger than her. 

And that's how they kidnapped Rem, as soon as they left the gravity became normal.
