Chapter 11: Narrow Alley Of Slavery

Getting a lecture from Stone, however, Myru just kept his mouth shut. How else? Strong scents always made him sneeze. Not to mention that he even put in all the spices he found on the freight train. Of course, by this time his bag was quite full.

'I'm planning to cook for myself if I can't get home quickly. After all, I need to use my money for other purposes instead of expensive things like spices.'

So while there was a chance to get free groceries, why not? Stone of eternal misfortune did not make a sound. It seemed like he felt guilty for sending Myru to a place that wasn't particularly safe.

Though it doesn't matter, after all, he is a character in a novel, therefore his existence must be guaranteed.

"Come here you rat!"

Or maybe not?

The voice was getting closer. Seeing a path, he jumped onto it, turned around, and then went around. There was a place that looked hollow but was quite short, even so, it was enough for Myru to squeeze through and the place was in a narrow enough path for the two people.

Myru sat down and listened again to the sounds outside, calm. When he escaped. Myru let out a long breath.

The sound of the wooden door creaking, Myru raised her face as she stared at the open door.

Ah... my luck...

A shiny arrow was pointed at Myru who flinched.

"What are you doing here?"

A voice filled with indifference was emitted to Myru who was currently still in the dark. In just one look, the person with the hood on her head could tell that Myru was royalty. It must be because the sparkling clothes that shone were different from the clothes used by ordinary people.

Could he get out and run? He could squat down again and get out of the hole before.

"Don't try to run away. I know someone like you will immediately scream for help but trust me, my sword will move faster and pierce your throat before you can make a sound."

"...."

For now, let's raise our hands and surrender. I've already died, but dying by being slashed doesn't sound like much fun.

The person carrying the crossbow replaced his weapon with a sword and approached while carrying an oil lantern in his hand after which it came closer to watch Myru more closely.

How is this? What should he do now?

The person finally in front of Myru, a handsome figure with golden hair was seen stealing Myru's attention. A sharp nose and a chin that looks firm, blue eyes with a sharp gaze, and a face that looks beautiful but also handsome at once. Ah, don't forget the gaping mouth while staring at Myru's condition.

"Blood?"

Blood? This must be the marks from when I fell off the cliff of death.

"Don't worry, it's not someone else's, it's my blood." I was worried that the charming man wanted to kill me immediately because he thought I was dangerous, but his face looked even stiffer when he heard my words.

Especially after seeing my current messy appearance. The wet blood from my head stains the white clothes that should be shining clean, the dirty dirt and mud stains all over my clothes, the small and slender body that seems to have no energy, and the body trembling from the cold night air.

Wait, it looks like my current appearance is really bad.

"...go in first, and change your clothes. I don't like dirty things."

The person in the cloak became more lenient even though he still escorted me to the bathroom with a knife in my back.

Myr returned to face the blond man who gave her a disapproving look.

"Why are you here? What's your reason for coming into my house?" he said sharply. Myru looked back at the man to find out what was going on.

[Psst, Myru, looks like he's not so bad after all?]

Myru nodded in her mind, thanks to him she could change into something more comfortable and take a warm shower when this charming man could have left her shivering from the cold with cold water.

Myru rolled her eyes, wondering what answer she should give before she opened her mouth. "I... Don't know."

"Don't know?"

"The last thing I remember was being attacked by bandits, then falling off a cliff. When I opened my eyes I was already in a strange place, again for some reason I was chased by two armed men, I had heard that they were talking about trading humans so I ran away and somehow ended up here."

In this story Myru didn't lie, he just didn't talk about the whole storyline, so he must be safe-

?!

Psshhhh

A red light moved quickly towards Myru and entered her body suddenly. Myru had no idea what it was but it seemed harmless because a few seconds later the light dimmed. The piece of paper that the man was holding then disappeared as it burned itself. Myru could only stare in confusion.

"You're not lying."

Myru looked at the man who let out a long breath at the story just now. No, did he just use that expensive paper to prove whether Myru was lying or not? Wasn't it just a waste of money?

Ah, I want it!

"You're just a noble boy who got into trouble, huh? Shouldn't you have guards? You ran away from your guards?"

"Not, I just volunteered to the bandit by myself."

Yes, he volunteered to be captured so that his sister wouldn't be too lonely.

"I know nobles are disgusting humans, but they're also stupid apparently." Myru did not reply

Myru did not reply

"Hey, how old are you, I'm sure you're old enough not to act like an idiot to offer yourself to slavery."

"...I'm just unlucky."

"Whatever."

I was serious.

Myru's eyes scrutinized the range from top to bottom, she looked more relaxed even though her hands were still holding a gun ready to be thrown at Myru if anything happened. There was a small picture on her shirt, a tulip flower that seemed to be hand embroidered. She also wore quite large gloves. When compared, her body size with Myru's was not too different although of course, Myru was the thinner one here.

Other than that, this room had a lot of stuff everywhere. Indeed, the contents were grabbed, but she could tell that this person often did something on the workbench located beside them.

"You look human enough already. You'd better get out of here, I don't want to deal with a runaway slave who is being searched for in various places like you."

Myru stared at the small floor plan that lay on the table.

"Territory? That looks more like a room. Is it a building?" Myru gave a small mutter.

Myru eyes scanned the surroundings. "If you're careful you should have killed me the first time I came here, how about I open my mouth?"

"If you just let me out, what if I tell this place to those big men-khH!"

Myru's neck was strangled, and with only one hand she felt suffocated. The dark pupils watched Myru.

"So arrogant...can't nobles keep their mouths shut?"

Myru was rigidly silent while smiling despite the tightness.
