A peaceful week passed, in which Bin spent most of his time loitering in the hotel or resting in the hotel suite. Elmina and Betelgeuse toured the city, spending large sums of money to buy useless things. 

After the week passed, Raymond, Beatrice, and Trewan returned, at last. It didn’t look like they were maltreated but the investigation lasted a while. Furthermore, Beatrice had to pay for the damage she caused in the auction. 

The three friends were warmly welcomed by the now healthy Bin, the four soon getting seated and chatting for a bit.

“Now, the big prize!”

Trewan fetched the necklace of Petulance from his jacket pocket, softly putting it on the glass table.
