For twenty minutes, Jasmine kept asking questions only for them to be answered vaguely, thus leaving her frustrated and unsatisfied. 

Her parents, however, kept silent and listened to the conversation. It was unknown why Theodore was so angry with Bin, but the fact he kept grunting and snorting were a clear sign that he didn’t welcome him in his home.

As for Angelica, she had the same fake smile on her face as she intently stared at Bin, trying to read his stoic expression or at least get a hint or two.

Unfortunately, by the end of their relatively long questioning, Jasmine wasn’t the least bit pleased. Apart from what he said at the beginning, all the rest were ‘I don’t know’ or ‘I haven’t been told yet’.
