After passing through the first gate, the other guards didn’t bother Bin. They busied themselves with patrolling the vast garden and only threw cursory glances at him. Though it’s his first time coming here, Bin didn’t act confused, he pushed the towering gates leading to the inside of the manor and was soon welcomed by a grand hall decorated with all kinds of ancient antics. He paid them no heed and started searching for any signs of Rika. The place was too big to search every inch so he ended up inquiring about the Miss’ room from a passing maid.
Fortunately, every servant seemed too busy to bother him, moreover, in rich households, it isn’t too uncomm
In fact, Rika wanted to stop Bin, who showed himself Unbeknowst to the angry father, however, she was far too late as a small metal chair came crashing down on the man. The metal leg of the chair hit the back of the father’s head, causing him to stagger a few steps to the side. He was in a dazed state, shocked but the sudden attack and before he could react properly, something slammed into him again, knocking him on the ground. While swinging the chair around, Bin didn’t hold back and purposely planned to hurt the man. This wasn’t the end though as the young man mounted the man and started showering him with punches directly aimed at his face.
"M-miss!"The two men guarding the main gate were slacking off so when they saw Rika abruptly appear, they were startled. They also saw a man in black tuxedo followed behind her. He was the man claiming to be her servant."No need for a car, I'll walk."The girl spoke calmly and swiftly left the area, followed by the young man, Bin.
"What happened?"Melissa inquired while looking at her friend, Rika, whose eyes, which were still wet, were swollen from all the crying. The short-haired girl docilely sat next to Bin and remained silent, she was glancing at the young man, signaling him with her eyes.'Alright alright I won't tell.'He rolled his eyes and let out a sigh, wondering why she's still trying to hide
"…"In response to his words, there was naught but an eerie silence. He slowly closed the door and remained motionless, glancing at the empty room. He didn't need confirmation, the way his body was reacting right now ascertained his former suspicions.'There is definitely someone in the room.'He closed his eyes and tried focusing. On the Western coast of M-Nation, formally known as the Republic of Korea, a small smuggler's boat just reached a recently built hidden docks belonging to an infamous smuggling organization. Among the passengers, there was a girl that carried only a small red bag on her back. Compared to the ugly mugs who boarded the boat with her, she was charming and attractive, though her emotionless face and her piercing glare made everyone who had thoughts about to her flinch and cower in fear. She disembarked and looked around for a long time, after ascertaining that no one was tailing her, she vanished from the area. Her feet were enveloped by a scarlet liquid, which boosted her speed, making
A man with lots of tattoos in all parts of his body, a flashy green and red hair and piercing in his nose and mouth, was hysterically laughing for a while before he turned around and looked at a small figure laying on top of a personally made bed.The bed was all bloodied and was equipped with metal locks that immobilize all four limbs, making it practically impossible to escape. There, on this hard and cold 'bed', there was a very young boy, no more than five years old, with an inky black hair and an unusually pale skin. The kid was shaking from fear, his eyes looking all around, trying to avoid the man's intense stare.
For a while, perhaps even a long one, there was nothing but silence. The recorder was on ever since the session began and, in this room, where there was only a small light bulb, a desk, and two chairs, the doctor and the patient each had different thoughts. The youngster looked absent-minded and internally struggling while the middle-aged doctor was reading his patient’s face, trying to find out an unsaid thing.“Do you not want to talk about it?”Out of habit, Doctor Galen held his pen and started scribbling ran
Today was Tuesday, the second day of school and Bin sincerely hoped he won’t through the same things as yesterday. So many things happened yesterday, whether it’s Rika’s matter, the invisible woman, or the nightmares of the past, they all made him feel apprehensive and a bit nervous. Things became much more complicated ever since he started working as a servant for Jasmine, nevertheless, it’s the price he’ll willing to pay to earn money. As usual, he woke up early with Mina and, fortunately, he wasn’t feeling dizzy, he wasn’t hurting either. After getting properly dressed and helping Mina wear a beautiful colorful dress which made look even m
Bin’s eyes fluttered then slowly opened. He felt weight on his thighs and chest and when he looked down, he saw Jasmine sound asleep. She had a habit of hugging him in the middle of sleep and half of her body would be pressed against his. It has been a year and a half since they started dating and the embarrassment of sleeping naked or half-naked was no more. Their relationship only got better and they even moved to a new place with Nina, though it wasn’t far from Emilia and Elise. He wasn’t interested in getting a proper job, nevertheless, he did find an entertaining habit, which was quickly developed. With Jasmine’s support and Bert’s countless acquaintances, Bin had opened a cozy small café in a relatively empty street. It wasn’t the best of locations, but he did not care. Bin was fo
Brule River Boreal Forest State, Russia. The forest, excluding wild beasts, was generally devoid of humans. However, today, it was the total opposite. The Russian Government dispatched its military and barricaded the huge region. Jets were flying through the air, trying to scout the ground and eliminate the legions of Pests stationed around the river and in-between the countless trees. However, the most eye-catching thing was the crimson crack hanging in the sky, its blood-red light outshining even the sun. Its mere presence brought for a foreboding and eerie atmosphere as well as a thick fog of the same color. Although well-equipped, the Russian Government did not act recklessly or rashly. They kne
“I won’t be away for long, okay?” “Promise?” Nina, looking a bit sad, lowered her head and tried not to cry. To appease her, Bin gave her a tight hug and repeatedly reassured her that everything will be alright. It has been ten days since his return to Earth and though no one forced him to act, he deemed now as the right time to get rid of the Rifts once and for all. Fortunately, there were no spotted Rifts in M-nation, therefore, Bin would soon have to leave for other countries. “Next time, I’ll bring you to fun places! I will bring gifts back with me, too!” Jasmine also hugged Nina and playfully pulled her c
“Sorry for the wait.”-Angelica “It’s fine.” Replied Bin as he sat back down next to Jasmine and smiled at her parents. While they discussed things, he spent some time chatting with the servants and managed to clear things up with Hyue. It was a good decision to come here and mend past relationships now that he was moving on and turning a new leaf. Unlike earlier, Theodore looked calmer but he was still glaring at him. As for Angelica, her expression was never-changing and, as always, unreadable. “My husband and I are not against your relationship, Bin. I only ask that you take good care of her.” “It shall be done, Madam.” “It better do! If I hear
Bin and Jasmine walked for a while before they returned to the car.“I should be the one ‘walking you home’. Sadly, I don’t have a driver’s license.”Bin sighed and watched as she drove him back to the villa. The trip back home felt brief as they talked on the way, but when they reached their destination, the two were silent.“If you have nothing to do, let’s meet tomorrow.” Suggested Bin as he looked at the white-haired Silver Dragon.Of course, Jasmine agreed with a meek nod. As he was about to get off, she abruptly stretched her arm and grabbed his, thus making him halt his actions.“Jasmine?”
Late at night, after the family had dinner and everyone retreated to their rooms, Bin went downstairs and, as he had expected, found Emilia in the kitchen. She absent-mindedly looked at the dining table and not even his arrival was noticed. Only when he pulled a chair and sat right next to her did she twitch and look at him. “Mother, you’re still worried?” He faintly smiled and gently grasped her hands, which eased the frown on her face. “How can I not be when my son refuses to listen to reason? Everytime, I get to see you for a brief time and then you leave.” “
Barely half a day after he woke up, Bin was in perfect health. However, Ann insisted that stays for two additional days, to which he nodded in obedience. As expected, he received many visits from Bert and the rest. Elise and, especially, Emilia, came every couple of hours to check on him and bring food. “Umm… so, there’s a matter that warrants an explanation. But, I think it’s better to wait till you come home.” Elise, fidgeting, peeled an orange while uttering those vague words. “It would have been better if you stayed silent.” “I was just warning you. At least, that way, you won’t be as surprised. Just brace yourself… okay?” Life as A Servant
When Bin finally regained his consciousness and opened his eyes, he found himself in an overly-extravagant and spacious hospital room. He took a couple of seconds to look around before slowly sitting up.He wasn’t particularly injured and the overwhelming exhaustion he was subjected to prior and after opening the portal was completely gone, fortunately.“Bin.”Somewhat softly called out to him, thus did his gaze jump to the source of the voice. He was facing Elise, Emilia, and, unexpectedly, the now grown-up Ryne. The three were sitting on a wide leather sofa and chatting quietly only to be startled by his sudden awakening. His mother ran to his side and supported him, fearing that he was experiencing pain. “Hurry up, Bin!” Although she was fending off the horde of Pests, Jasmine could not fight forever. She remained close to Bin and continuously swung her sword at any incoming enemies. At the same time, Bin was strengthening his connection with the white crystal. Slowly but surely, a gentle wave of white light flowed from within his body and started taking the shape of a human-sized portal. Unfortunately, Jasmine was reaching her limits and ended up getting blasted far away. Her body crashed on the ground and rolled a couple of times. Although she hastily got back on her feet and ran back, it wasn’t fast enough to stop the Pests from reaching Bin. With all his concentration focused on the connection, Bin could not defend himChapter 495 : Reunion
