Ron figured out that there is someone else that suggested to Faith to cast a spell-like this, he wanted to ask Faith about it but it was not the right time for him to do this, he needed to stop the spell before it finished.
The best thing that Ron thought of is to attack Faith before she finished casting a spell but he was not that sure of himself that he could control his power, he didn’t want to kill Faith by mistake so he turned to Khalid hoping that he would be able to do it.
Ron explained it to Khalid, he didn’t want to do this because he wasn’t confidant enough in himself, Ron figured that out by what he got before so he told him “you don’t need to worry about anything if I notice that you do something that would hurt her I will stop you”
