"Sigh. I should sit down and rest." Arthur dropped the letter to the ground, then sat down on a nearby couch to shut his eyes and rest. His head was throbbing a bit from all the thinking, so he needed to relax.

As for joining a guild? He was going to trash that idea without even blinking. From his past experiences with this same guild, he wasn't even difficult for him. All he needed to do was think about it once, then settle it.

Although any normal warrior would have jumped at the thought of getting themselves roped into a guild by a leader himself, Arthur understood how delicate this trap was. It was all just bait to lure in talents as soon as they bloomed — inexperienced newbies.

The tactic allowed the guilds to remain at the top, just collecting dumb talents and honing their power for the benefits of the guilds. Once a talent has burned out it's usefulness, it either gets kicked out somehow or—
