****Laura's pov****

I took my seat while my stepmother sat at the head of the table which was supposed to be mine. I didn't query her because I didn't want any more drama and the board members knowing how fucked up our family is now. My aim was knowing why the meeting was called.

"Thank you ladies and gentlemen for coming,I really appreciate." She smiled brightly before opening the bottled water in front of her. She poured it in her cup and drank some.

"Were you the one who called the meeting?" One of the board members asked and she bopped her head.

They all looked at me questionably. I was still sitting here trying to know why she had called the meeting. Not that I had any other way of ruining the meeting. Only Roberto could help me.
