Chapter Seven

"It's okay mom. I'm fine." I said.

"Diego! I promise,you'll live a good life." She said.

We released the hug and she took my hand and placed it in my dad's hand.

"Nothing must happen to my son. Audrey must not harm him or else?" My mom threatened and honestly I was scared at the way she glared at him.

"I promise. Nothing would happen to him." He said.

"Who's Audrey? Step sister?" Diego asked.

"Step mother." My dad answered.

"Oh Brother Roberto. I heard step moms are dangerous. Be careful. Don't eat her food,don't cross her path, don't follow her anywhere." He said and he marked each point with his fingers.

"I'll be careful. Mom! Would you accept dad's money now?" I asked and she nodded slowly.

My dad handed the black card over to me.

 "I'm sorry Grace. I promise I'll make it up to you." My dad said and my mom nodded again.

"I have to go back home now." I said and my mom hugged me tightly. "Be careful son." She whispered in my ear.

After convincing my dad not to drop me home,I got home past seven. Luckily for me,there was nobody downstairs. I walked into my room to quickly take off the clothes I was wearing but my wife was sitting on the bed. There was no files she was working on neither was there laptop. She was holding her phone tightly in her hand.

She saw me and ran to hug me immediately.

"Where have you been since yesterday?  I've called several times but you didn't pick." 

It was then I spotted my phone on the table.

"I'm sorry. I forgot it here." I answered and she hugged me tightly again.

"I was already beginning to feel scared. I called Diego,he didn't pick. He ignored my texts too." She explained.

"I'm sorry. I was spending time with mom." I lied.

"How is she? Is she fine now? I'm sorry I couldn't come see her. I was busy in the office." She said.

"it's okay. I understand." I kissed her soft lips and she claimed mine.

She released my lips and chuckled. "i miss you so much." 

"I miss you more baby." 

She helped me remove my neck tie and my clothes till it remained my boxer shorts.

"I need you baby." She whispered as she tried to take off my boxers.

"Let me take my bath." I said and she scoffed. 

"Really?" 

I nodded and ran into the bathroom. She banged on the door several times.

"I'm in the mood Roberto." She yelled and I continued bathing.

I finished and wrapped a white towel around my waist and came out of the bathroom. She attacked me and starting kissing me as her hand explored my neck down to my perfectly tanned abs. I carried her and took her to the bed. I placed her on the bed gently and climbed on top of her. 

I kissed her passionately and my tongue explored her mouth and I enjoyed how she moaned. I kissed her ear down to her neck. I sucked her skin and took off her clothes piece by piece.  I was about to go into her folds when my mother in law barged without knocking.

Thank God for the blankets covering us.

"Roberto!" She yelled.

I quickly climbed down from her and laid on the bed.

"Yes ma." I answered sharply as I was breathing heavily.

"Come I need to show you something." She said.

"I'm coming ma. I'll just put on some clothes." I said.

" I said come now." She glared at me.

"I'm not wearing anything." I begged.

"I'll be waiting outside. Two minutes." She warned and banged the door against the hinges.

I stood up and quickly put on my blue pyjamas.

" Let's just finish quickly." Rosa said.

"Later." I wore my slippers and rushed outside. My mother in law closed the door and dragged me downstairs with my ear.

"Ouch! What have I done this time?" I asked.

She took me to her room and my father in law was seated as if he was waiting for me to walk in.

"What do you think you're doing?" My father in law asked.

I was confused. "What did I do sir?" I asked and my father in law punched me in the face. I fell down and my nose broke. Blood tickled down my nose to the floor.

"Were you just trying to have sex with my daughter? Do you want to get her pregnant?" My father in law asked.

"She's my wife sir and I have every right to do so." He punched me in the face again and I staggered but I didn't fall this time.  My lips bursted and I tasted blood in my mouth.

"Do you want her to get pregnant? Do you want her to give birth to a wench like you?" My mother in law yelled.

"Let me warn you. You are just here temporarily. I know you brainwashed her. My daughter would soon come back to her senses and go back to Mark but until then maintain your lane and behave." My father in law yelled and I nodded.

I wanted to cry but I held it in. " I don't even have the right to touch my wife again. What kind of life is this? What have I done to deserve this?" I asked myself.

"Can't you hear?" My mother in law tapped the back of my head bringing me back to reality.

"Leave now and don't you dare tell Rosa what happened here." My father in law threatened and I left the room.

I went back to my room and Rosa was fast asleep. She was snoring. Her beautiful face made my heart skip a beat and I smiled 

"I love you. I love you so much." I whispered and kissed her forehead.

I went to the bathroom and washed the blood off my face. I winced in pain as the cold water hit my skin. I finished quickly and went to bed so Rosa wouldn't know. I covered my face with the blanket and slept off.

I was woken up by Rosa the next morning. She was trying to give me a goodbye kiss as usual but I couldn't let her see my face. "What would I tell her happened to me?" I asked myself.

After sturggling for a while she yelled. "Don't you want to see my face?" 

"It's not like that. I really want to sleep." I lied.

"Just one kiss." She begged.

I moved the blanket from my face a little,revealing just my forehead.

"Go ahead." I said

"Seriously. We couldn't have sex last night and now you're denying me of kissing you." She said.

"I look hideous babe. Just kiss my forehead and go." I said and she left angrily.

I couldn't go after because of the injury on my face. I felt bad.
