Chapter Twenty Two

Laura threw a key at me and I caught it.

"Drop them at their school." She ordered as she painted her finger nails.

"Sure." I grumbled.

I rubbed my stomach as I walked outside the house.

I was hurting.

I got into the driver's seat expecting the kids to go in but they didn't.

"Won't you open the door for us?" Bethany yelled.

I got down and opened the door for them to get in. They got in and I closed the door then went back to the driver's seat and drove off.

Bethany turned on the radio and increased the volume. I drove to their school as fast as I could,to get rid of them at least and resume at the office. I didn't want to miss a day so I had to go everyday. I didn't want my stepmother to use that against me neither do I want to be a dissappointed to my dad.

I parked at the school packing lot and I alighted from the car and opened the door for them.

Their friends came to them and they exchanged pleasantries.

"Hi Uncle. Good morning." They all greeted.

"Don't greet him. He is a loser." D
