Chapter one hundred and fourty six

***Laura's pov***

I turned around and it was my mother standing right in front of me.

I ran to her hoping to stick the knife into her belly and watch her bleed to death but a stronger hand held my hand.

"What are you doing? Are you crazy?" He yelled.

I struggled to get out of his grip but I couldn't.

"Hold her please. Don't let her kill me." Rosa's mother yelled.

"Let me kill her. Let me kill that evil witch." I screamed on top of my voice.

He snatched the knife away from me.

"Are you okay?" He slapped my face gently and I belched.

"She's drunk. She stinks." My dad said.

He carried me and took me to my room.

"Bath for her. Pour some water on her head too." He said and my mom nodded.

He left and she walked to me.

"You tried to kill me." She grabbed my neck and I tried to breath.

"Now shout for help. Shout so they can come help you and save you from this evil witch." She smiled but I couldn't do anything. I was tired and my hands were lazy. I couldn't fight for my life.

She released me
