***Roberto's pov****

I was holding my drink in my hand waiting for him to announce whatever he wants to so i could ditch the party and go home.

He walked up to Mona and held her hand. She smiled brightly.

"Today,my son would be engaging his woman." He announced and I laughed. Everyone started clapping

"You must be joking dad." I whispered and he placed Mona's hand in mine.

He handed a little box which contained a ring to me.

"Do the needful." He said.

"You must be joking." He answered back.

I took a step forward and he grabbed my arm.

"You dare not walk out of this party." He said.

"Or what?" I questioned.

"I take my company back." He threatened.
