The guard came back in to inform us.

"She's waiting in the living room sir." He said and left.

I tried to stand up but my dad gestured and I sat back.

"I'll attend to the person. Just rest well." He said and left.

"Something doesn't feel right." i said as my dad refused to come back in after ten minutes.

I stood up and went to the living room. As I was about to step into the living room I saw my mother in law sitting and laughing,chatting with my dad. I ran back in,breathing heavily. She was dressed elegantly as usual but this was different. She wore an orange gown with a black hat. Her face was painted as usual and her red lipstick shone very well,making her face bright.

She wore black high heels which she shouldn't be wearing considering her age and health.

"What is she doing here?" I asked myself. It was then I remembered she came here yesterday,inviting me for lunch.
