Chapter 11

Arriving at the house, Celine and Leon were greeted with a meal so sumptuous, let's just say it was a wedding celebration for Leon and Celine, that Martin's grandfather ordered all the dishes.

"Look at this food Leon, this is all Grandpa has prepared for you as a wedding gift." Grandpa Martin said, looking very happy as he put the side dishes on Leon's plate.

Grandpa Martin really cares for Leon. He loves him so much. The family members looked at him strangely.

"Celine, you eat a lot too.

It's a historic day for you!”

"Congratulations sis on your wedding, you finally got married to that village guy!"

Marko glanced over with a dismissive look.

"Although I liked the guy who sent me a message yesterday better, it was unexpected that you married that village guy!"

"You're so unlucky!" Marko added.

"Grandpa, when I grow up, don't set me up!" I really hate arranged marriages!”

Martin's originally happy grandfather quickly changed his face. He said in a high tone.

"You have the audacity to speak out of turn, do you want me to throw you out of this house?" Grandpa Martin looked so angry that he clenched his teeth.

Marko was so surprised to see Grandpa Martin's anger, he rarely got angry, especially lately Grandpa Martin had been taking a yoga class which made him feel more relaxed.

The whole family looked at Marko, who looked so scared.

"Apologize to your brother-in-law, never disrespect him in front of me! Remember, he is the son-in-law of this house!"

Grandpa Martin explained as he ate his meal.

Marko swallowed his saliva deeply, he hadn't expected his grandfather to be so emotional, Marko often teased him, but he had never seen him so angry. However, he had to apologize to his brother-in-law, as Grandpa Martin had instructed,

"Brother-in-law, madam - I'm sorry, I spoke presumptuously to you!"

Marko bowed to Leon, who was eating his meal. He didn't care about Marko's disparaging remarks, he seemed to be immune to people's insults.

"Of course I forgive you Marko, just pretend you never said anything!"

Celine just remained silent and gave Marko a look, his cheeky attitude was something she was used to, especially now that he hated Leon, Celine would support him if he continued to insult her.

Celine's parents looked at each other in disbelief that this was happening to their beloved daughter Celine.

They really wanted a son-in-law like their daughter, a handsome and wealthy man. But now their daughter is with a country bumpkin.

If there was a way out of this problem, they would take it to save face in front of their social friends.

"What if my social friends find out that I have a son-in-law from the village? I'm losing my mind, I really can't believe that this must be a dream".

Mrs. Amy pinched her cheek to make sure she wasn't dreaming.

"Actually, I don't like the village man either, but what the hell, it's all Grandpa Martin's decision." Celine's father muttered.

Celine had no appetite for food this time, the food on the table was so tempting but tasteless on her tongue.

How strange.

Holding a spoon was so hard for her that she dropped it on her plate.

"Celine, are you okay?"

Leon was so attentive to Celine, now that she was his wife, he had to treat her well.

"I don't seem to have any appetite, I'm already full!"

Grandpa Martin just smiled, he was very nervous because it was his first night.

"Leon, hurry up and take your wife to the room! It's your first night!"

"Grandpa can't wait to hold the successor of Luis' family.

"What?"

Celine was speechless as her hands trembled and fidgeted, it was like lightning struck in the silence.

The family members were silent as they looked at Celine.

"Grandpa, isn't it too soon, Celine just met him!

"You'll get to know her, she's very good for you!"

Grandpa Martin paused and looked intently at Celine, the anger in his eyes ready to take the room by storm.

Celine looked down at Grandpa Martin, I hadn't expected the old man to push her so hard.

"Let's go rest in the room!" The sight of Leon holding Celine's hand immediately made Celine's eyes widen.

He even dared to hold her hand in front of the family.

"You...? "

Celine wanted to be angry, but she knew Grandpa Martin was watching her. She complied and went to rest with Leon.

Grandpa Martin looked so happy to see Leon and Celine go into the room together.

"Soon there will be a successor to Luis in this house?"

Grandpa Martin smiled happily, they were finally getting married as expected.

Celine rudely and coldly let go of Leon's hand in the room.

"What are you doing, this is crazy?"

Celine looked upset and sat down on the bed. But suddenly Leon knocked Celine down with his body, he moved wildly and got on top of Celine.

"Remember I'm your husband now?”
