Mia felt remorseful, she already felt bad enough that her life changed overnight and a reckless decision of hers, she had not even had the time to process the whole situation. 

Melissa, who was watching the whole situation from afar, walked up to them and faked a smile.“I hate to do this but we are family. What can a family do but help each other in times of trouble.” Melissa swung an old bunch of keys in her hand

She was happy that Lord Leinhart had taken the car from Mia, she also loved the car and was trying to get it from the company but they sold it to Mia instead.

Now was the chance for her to have it to herself.

“Will you get to the point and stop beating around the bush?” Mia growled at her, knowing her cousin was up to mischievous acts. The last person she would trust was Melosaa.

Every time Melissa tried to be nice to her it always ended up as a bad thing.

“Xalm down cousin, I am trying to be good to you. After all you have been good to me in the past, this is a minor issue that you and your parents have now. I should help out,” She faced Mia’s parents. “Aunty and Uncle don’t you agree?”

“I know you are happy to see us this way, Mia will be back to take her spot soon.” Mia’s mom said in her daughter's defense. She was annoyed that Mia was going to keep quiet and not defend herself.

“Aunty, you should not speak to me like that. I do not like that kind of attitude when I just offered to help you. That would make you an ingrate.” Melissa said in a disrespectful manner.

“Your family just lost their place as in the first table, you are in the third class, so you should act like where you belong.” She added. “Speaking of hierarchy, I am superior now.”

Mia was fuming with anger and she yelled “You keep going about how you intend to help us but you have been insulting my mom since you opened your mouth, will you offer you help or let us go our own way?”

She hated that Melisaa was speaking to hurt their feelings in the past, even when Mia had the upper hand, she had never mistreated Melissa and her mom or spoke impolitely to her aunty.

“You are surely shameless, Mia. I can’t believe you still talk to me this way. SAnyway, since I am kind, I will just go to the point.” She threw the old key she was holding at Mia and she caught it at once.

“That is the key to the oldest car in this compound, it was the car you used when you were sixteen, uncle Mason. I am sure you are familiar with it. Grandpa doesn’t know anything about it so feel free to take it.”

A driver drove an old and shabby car to where they were standing, Mia was so shocked to see the state of the car, she could swear that she had never seen it before, the car was obviously way older than her.

Mason and his wife felt so insulted, everyone knew them and their exotic cars but now they would have to ride in a shabby, old car that no one had used for a long time.

But they had no choice but to get into the car.

Meslisa laughed in her mind because she knew the case of the car, it would not even last a couple of miles before they reached their detention, the car was really in a bad shape.

It hasn’t been maintained in the past twenty years, she asked one of the family drivers to go and bring it from the junkyard in the Villa, the car was supposed to heaven  scrapped off or something but somehow it was still there,

She plotted a plan to teach her cousin and her parents a lesson using that car.

“Have a safe journey while you ride,” Miesllsia banded as they were about to get into the car. Mia got into the driver’s seat, just as Logan was about to get into the driver’s seat, Mason stopped him.

“What do you think you are doing?” 

“Getting into the car sir. We should leave together.” Logan replied.

“Do you think you deserve to get into the car with us after causing us this trouble?” Mason yelled at him. “Find your way to the people that owns you nd do not follow us.”

Mason got into the back seat with his wife and slammed the door. “Move it car.” He ordered his daughter.

Mia looked at Logan before she ignited the car and started driving the car. She felt sorry for leaving him behind, she had no choice but to obey them.

They were already mad at her for getting married to him without her knowledge, she didn't want to worsen the situation.

“Pathetic family.” Melissa mocked as they drove away. “DSid they leave their newest member of family to work as a slave hee or what use is he to us over here?”

She hissed and swayed her hips inside the Villa, the other members of the Leinhart family that were watching the drama also went back inside the house, leaving Logan alone in front of the house.

He shook his head in disdain, compared to his own family, the Leinahrt family are worse and they didn’t realize how much damage they were doing to each other by keeping their fights up.

Lord Leinhart himself is the one fuelling the whole situation by making them compete against each other. What he had seen there made him determined to help Mia out of the citation.

She was trying to keep their marriage a secret because it was going to backfire then, he didn’t know that it was going to be such a big matter like this. She and parents have been stripped of their titles because of him.

While he still had these thoughts going on, the driver showed up with a pre-rease version of the latest Audi car, even the one that no one in the world had laid their hands on. 

The car screamed luxury, none of the Leinhart noticed the car, a tall strong man got down from the car to greet Logan. 

“I am sorry for taking so long, Young Master, this car just arrived from the port and it took a while to clear.” The driver explained why he was late as he opened the door of the car for Logan to get in.
