Before he could catch up with her, she had locked the door to the room behind her, just as he was about to knock on the door, he heard the sounds of the shower turn on then he retired to the sitting room.

He thought of apologizing to her the next morning for crossing the line. It was too late for him to go back to the base and they had rounded up most things that needed to be done, so he decided to crash on the couch.

He laid down and closed his eyes, in his little slumber he felt some soft fingers working their way on his tie. Fresh shampoo scent hit his nostrils and he immediately opened his eyes and held onto her hands.

It was nothing that he had smelled before and all his senses were at alert, tightening his grip on the hands of whoever was working on his tie.

“Hey.” Mia said in a light whisper, she wasn’t expecting him to wake up like that.
