When Logan and Mia were left alone, “how was the food, I hope it wasn’t too cold when it got to you?” Logan asked.

His question broke Mia inside, though she was the reason they fought and yet he cared about little things about her. He wasn’t pointing fingers at her or trying to pick her faults, he only wanted to know if she enjoyed her meal.

He didn’t deserve the attitude he got from her the last time they spoke.

“It is not the food, the food was so good, I enjoyed it.” She managed to say between her sobs.
