Isabella jerked back her coverlet and climbed out of bed when she realised that she was drowning in her sweat. The high-power AC in her room and the fact that she slept with just a tube and pants on did nothing to detract from the heat that was pumping off her body. She was too weak to go to the kitchen so she merely went to the minifridge close to the sitting area to get a bottle of water. She gulped it down while standing as the cold vent of the ac buffetted hr exposed skin.

Her sweat dried up in no time but that did nothing to reduce the way her system was still jumping. Just like a junkie on the rebound, she walked groggily towards the bathroom she entered the shower and simultaneously pressed the cold shower button.
