Chp 55 - Marked

Damien was excited to see Sky waiting at the gate for him that morning and he was about to cross over to him to ask about the red-haired girl, momentarily forgetting the fact that he wanted nothing to do with the younger vampire at school to prevent any problem that could stem from such association.

Just as he moved toward Sky’s direction, he could see the way some girls were pointing at him and he instantly remembered what he had said. He turned away from Sky when he heard the faint familiar sound of Cade’s car and he knew that it would look good for Cade if blabbermouths like Cade saw them together that morning again.

He could feel Sky’s anger as he entered the school’s main building. He passed a small smile on his face as he passed some students who gave him a wide berth as though he had fleas on him. He could see that the fact that his uniform was clean and ironed that morning did not change their mind about him so he walked just as Sky would as he passed them.

Ms. Mace was not in
