Chapter 6- Recruitment

Zephyra lowered her eyelids and thought about her plans.

"Do we have any seeds?"

[We have more than enough]

" Okay, arrange them in the inventory "

Zephyra clicked on the inventory and noticed that below each section had a general name for them.

She clicked on seeds and different kinds of seeds appeared before her eyes.

She clicked on each seed and studied their properties to know which she would plant.

She decided to plant all kinds of seeds related to food and herbs while she studied the ones related to poison.

She recognized all the seeds in her inventory due to her identity in the second world she reincarnated to.

The world where she was killed by a void beast, the owner of the body was a saint alchemist which is the top of alchemy.

As for the void beast which had killed her then. It wasn't just any void beast but a Celeste beast which can't even be seen and can only be chanced upon.

She quickly skimped through the descriptions since they were more detailed.

After she finished planting the ones she could, she felt drained both physically and mentally.

She did not manually plant them but used her spirit to do it and now she was drained.

She sat down for a while before she continued.

Thank God for how slow time moved though it is not the same for plants.

Most of the food crops she planted were already germinating.

Once she was done planting all the seeds, she watered them with the water from the river that she felt there was no end in sight of.

She took a deep breath and the pure Mana rushed into her body opening her pores.

She felt so comfortable as she meditated.

"Sigh, it should already be late." Zephyra said as she looked at the crops which were already beating fruits.

"Now is to build a warehouse"

[No need for that, below the main floor of the tower, at the basement is the warehouse. You can transport them into the inventory and then to the warehouse.]

That would work. She was not planning on using the subsystem inventory anytime soon.

She exited her personal world and arrived back at where she was standing which was at the gate of summoning.

Looking up, she felt that it wasn't dark yet. She could go and hunt for food.

After meditating, she did not feel so hungry but she still had to hunt for food at least. She planned to do dimension travel tonight to check out how it is.

Since they only transferred people of ages 18-50, there should still be people there.

According to the novel, not everybody was brought here. Only 1 billion people were picked and it will continue like that.

She needed to calm down and go through her memory and also write it down.

[You don't have to worry about that. The story was copied before the book disintegrated. You can scroll down the panel to see an option called plot.]

Great, this was like giving a beggar a hot meal.

"Do you have a form?"

[ I do but don't want to be in that form]

"Why?"

[Am afraid you will fall in love with me]

Zephyra choked on the bottle of water she was drinking.

This system of hers was really a narcissist.

"If you're in your form, will I still be able to use the system?"

[Yes you will]

"Okay. Time to summon" she clicked on summon.

A blue light flashed carrying five people with it before receding.

Zephyra raised her eyebrows into a grown as she looked at the set of disabled people before her.

'Am sure my luck is not that bad, right?' she could not help but click her tongue.

She was still in her thoughts but the five pairs of eyes on her made her self conscious.

"Goodday, allow me to inspect your status" she gave a standard smile and immediately inspected them.

[ Name: Gerald LeVert]

[Level: 10]

[Age: 50]

[Status: Disabled]

[Loyalty; 60]

[Class: Blacksmith]

[Ability; Heating, Fire control, smoldering, Metal control, Forging, Enchantment.]

[Talent; Elemental Forging (Gold)]

Zephyra nodded at his talent though she frowned upon gazing at his status. How could a blacksmith who could not stand be able to forge.

She clicked on the description of the talent.

[ Elemental Forging( Gold ); A powerful talent among blacksmiths, allowing them to infuse mystical properties into their creation and using only elements to forge into objects.]

Zephyra nodded at his talent. According to what she knows, a skilled elemental forger can manipulate ice to imbue weapons with a chilling effect, harness darkness for stealthy enhancements, wield lightning for electrifying strikes, control fire for intense and destructive capabilities, and channel water for versatile and fluid attributes.

Each element presents unique challenges, but mastering them grants the blacksmith unparalleled mastery over the elemental forces, creating weapons and armor that are as extraordinary as they are formidable.

It also grants them the ability to use elements to create things but that's when the level of talent and mastery is high.

Zephyra turned to inspect the lady behind the old man.

[ Name: Thyma LeVert]

[Level: 3]

[Age: 15]

[Status: Deaf]

[Loyalty; 30]

[Class: Assassin]

[Ability; Illusion, Dagger mastery, shadow walker]

[Talent; Shadow sculptor (Iron)]

Zephyra nodded her head at the talent and ability.

She frowned at the fact that the young lady was deaf before looking at the talent description.

[ Shadow sculptor: a unique skill with the ability of using shadows for illusion and deception.]

Zephyra nodded her head in approval at the talent though weak.

She also noticed that the two might be related.

She checked the next person which happens to be a young boy.

Zephyra looked at the young boy and noticed his eyes were foggy. She hoped it wasn't what it is.

She opened the panel and unfortunately, her guess was right.

[ Name: Zion LeVert]

[Level; 1]

[Age: 10]

[Status: Blind]

[Loyalty; 50]

[Class: Chronomancer ]

[Ability; Chrono-Lock, Time sense, Clairvoyance, Temporal sight]

[Talent; Time Weaving (Iron)]

Zephyra's eyes widened at the talent and abilities but quickly calmed down. Their levels were too weak and so is the level of their talent.

She clicked on the description of the abilities and talents.

[ Time Weaving( Iron); Manipulates time threads to weave protective barriers or traps with intricate temporal patterns.]

[Chrono-lock: Freezes a target or area in time temporarily, rendering them immobile.]

[Time-sense: Intuitively senses temporal disturbances, foreseeing potential threats or changes in the timeline. ]

[Clairvoyance: Gain detailed insights into alternate timelines and potential future outcomes. ]

[Temporal Sight: Can see glimpses of past and future events, providing insights and strategic advantages.]

She checked the last person which she thinks is their mother.

Welp! She was wrong.

[ Name: Zane]

[Level; 15]

[Age: 29]

[Status: Healthy]

[ Loyalty; 50]

[Class: Cartographer]

[Ability; Terrain prediction, Ley-line sensing, Astral mapping, Forecast prediction.]

[Talent; Cartographic Glyphs ( Silver)]

[Cartographic Glyphs; Utilizes enchanted symbols and glyphs on maps for communication, protection, or amplification of magical energies.]

Well they were all weak and as for the handicapped, she was sure she could figure out something.

As an alchemist it would be a shame if she couldn't do anything..

"Welcome to Evernight. Though your loyalty levels are appalling. I hope you like it here.

For now there are no rooms available for your stay as I have yet to upgrade the territory, but we would be doing that today.

Here is your meal, this meal is just for the first day, if you can't contribute to the territory, you would be getting none especially when the population increases.

I would love to know more about you but as we do not have time on our side, Zane would accompany me to map the surroundings while you guys make yourself comfortable."

They nodded their head in acknowledgement while the kids especially thyma who was deaf and Zion who was blind but just nodded his head.

She did not know what they had experienced but it wasn't her problem now.

Zephyra felt something flash through her mind and she tried remembering it.

'Yes, now I got it. The three of them all have surnames which only a noble would have. Zane does not.'

She smiled at them before pointing at the tent.

"Since you all are families, it would be okay if you three stay together. Thyma would do the cooking. The kitchen is at the back of the residence. Gerald, you explain to Thyma, I am not good at hand signs. Zane let's go."

Zane frowned and wanted to refuse but she still followed.
