He looked around the house but the whole house was empty. It clicked in his head that Saturdays were the days that the staff took their day off.

He rang the bell for Roberto to come in and he voted in the huge sitting room downstairs.

“Good evening, Chairman.” He bowed before Lorenzo. The first time he met Lorenzo, if anyone had told him that Lorenzo was going to be the next Chairman of Rossi's group.

“When did Daphne leave?” Lorenxo asked him.

“Miss Daphne had clocked out before I resumed for my shift, You weren’t around during the day?”

“No sir, you told her to find someone to rotate the job with me.”

“She employed someone else already? Who is he? When did he begin the work?”

“I don’t know much about him but he is an American. I detected it from the way he writes his report. He started working here on Monday.”

“What time did he report that my guests left?”

“2pm, sir.”

Was she that desperate to leave me?

“Thank you Roberto.”

“Is there anything else you’d like to know sir?
