Elise said out loud. Her phone rang for the tenth time that morning and she was already fed up

It was weekend and she decided to help her parents out at the bakery, everything had been going well until a particular number kept calling repeatedly

Elise decided not to pick after the person had called the first two times, she assumed the person would get the memo that she was busy and would return the calls later but the person didn't

Elise held her phone and watched it ring, she was contemplating if she should pick up the call when the customer in front of her spoke up

"Excuse me, can I pay for my purchase?" The customer said

Elise quickly looked up from her phone

"Oh, yes, sorry about that. How can I help you?" Elise asked

"I'd like to pay for my items, please" the customer answered

"Of course, I apologize for the delay. Let me ring up your items" Elise responded

The customer handed Elise her goods and after costing it, Elise handed it back to her
