"The headmaster is going to be our teacher," said Lilith

"This guy is very persistent isn't he" though Connor

"Okay students I know that I am the headmaster but, in this class, just call me professor," said Ezekial

"Alright let's get class started today we will be talking about mana pools," said Ezekial

"As you all know every living thing has a mana pool, mana pools are the storage of energy we have in our souls, it allows us to collect the mana from the air into our body's. But to understand more about mana pools we need to know where mana comes from. Over 5000 years ago the world was Barrone filled with nothing just grey land but then the core of our world started to act up it started to release energy that cause plants to grow and change into plants that let out a special type of water. This water would allow any living thing to drank it to be able to use mana, Normal animals that drank it would start to mutate into creatures that would consume things to get stronger. When those monsters gained enough strength, they gained humanoid forms and started to have children these kids would be the start of different races. Unlike most living things elves were an exception, elves are birth from the great sage tree. This is where all the elder elves and spirits would come from. Until 2000 years ago all elves came from there but now, they can have children of their own without the sage tree. Now for mana pools, the living things born from these ancient creatures were born with larger mana pools while human were born with smaller pool, but that means rare chances won't occur, some humans are born with exceptionally large mana pools because they have some blood of rare extinct creatures. Now all if you are wondering how one can improve their own mana pool, first you can empty your pool and let it refill allowing it to get bigger, but that takes much too long, second it using the cores of creature of animal with larger mana pool to increase your own, and the last way is to drink the water from 5000 years ago which will increase your mana pool 10 fold like the one from the entrance exam. The last one will be the hardest because there is only one cave that produces the elixir, and it is used by all the kingdoms making it something one would have to pay millions of gold coins for a small bottle..." counited Ezekial

After the lesson was done and the class was done for the day Connor walked Lilith back to the inn and went back to the school to talk to Ezekial.

"Looks like you changed you mind about being my student" teased Ezekial

"I'm not doing this for your it's for someone I care about," said Connor

"The Lilith girl, she must be important to you," said Ezekial

"Well anyways what is it you want in return" asked Ezekial

"I need a bottle of elixir," said Connor

"You know that it will not be cheap, it is a very rare thing" replied Ezekial taking a seat

"Yes, and I will pay it back in full but someone like the headmaster of this school should be able to get one more bottle" said Connor smirking

"Dammed brat, fine I will get it for you, but you have to join the tournament of warriors and represent our school," said Ezekial

"Fine, that's fair enough, oh that reminds me I need one more small favor" responded Connor

Leaving his office Connor went back to the inn and told Lilith about how he would get the elixir for her and made a deal with the headmaster.

"Please tell me you are not doing anything dangerous" asked Lilith

"I will stay safe, cause if I get hurt who will make the food, you can't cook to save your life" said Connor without thinking

"Want to say that again" Lilith said cracking her knuckles

"Lilith wait a second what I meant was that your cooking is not amazing" Connor said making it worse

"What" Lilith screamed punching him in the head

For the next week Connor repeated this going to school dropping off Lilith, lessons with Ezekial, then training in the forest

" Okay Connor the tournament is going to start tomorrow are you ready" asked Ezekial

"Yes, I have to win," said Connor

(Maybe being in the tournament will help me breakthrough) though Connor

"Thats the spirit," said Ezekial

"Okay that is all for today, and by the way here" Ezekial said passing Connor a pair of keys and a piece of paper

"Is this for what I'm thinking" asked Connor

"Yup they just finished it yesterday" said Ezekial wiping the board

Leaving the campus Connor went to the inn to see Lilith eating dinner. While walking over to her Connor saw a group of guys go up to her.

"Hey, miss why are you eating alone tonight" ask one of the men

"I not I'm waiting for someone," said Lilith

"How about you eat with us while you wait" said another with a lude smile

"I'm fine I will just wait here" Lilith said trying to give them the hint to go away

"Come on it's just a few drinks nothing harmful" said the biggest one grabbing onto her hand

"Let go of my hand I don't want to go with you" Lilith said pulling her hand away

"You know it's rude not to listen to your elders" said the man visible running out of patience

Grabbing her hand again the four men tried to bring Lilith to their table. Now knowing he won't have to hold back Connor walked up to the group and Lilith

"Miss Lilith sorry I'm so late if you would please follow me" Connor said with a fake smile

"Connor your late, these men tried to harass me" said Lilith hiding behind Connor

"Hey, we only invited you for a drink how dare you lie about us" said the fourth man rising his hand to hit Lilith

"If you would please refrain from using violence, now if would follow me I think we could make some kind of agreement" Connor said pulling out a bag of money

"Ha, now we are talking let's go to the alley way" said the biggest guy smirking

"Connor you don't have to give this scum any of our money" said Lilith giving them dirty glares

"it's fine Miss Lilith I will handle this please trust me" said Connor holding her hand

"Yea little missy he can handle this" said the smallest guy laughing

Leading them into the alley way Connor got rid of his friendlily smile and started to release his bloodlust

"Now that we are here, I can let go, I just did not want miss Lilith to see this side of me" Connor said as he started to change

Infront of the thief's Connor stared to grow, becoming 8 feet of pure muscle, his skin started to turn into a shade of blue, he grew horns, and his nails grew into beasty claws. and his eyes became a endless void of black

"People like you are the scum of this world, and that fact that you dared lay your hands on miss Lilith your death is your own causing Connor said before disappearing.

'Where the hell did it go" asked one of the thieves

the next moment Connor appeared again and ripped that thief's head off

"What the hell!" scream the smallest thief before getting his arms cut of, and before he could scream his head fell of his head

"Boss we need to run" said the second thief before trying to run out the alley way

"Where do you think you are going" Connor said before kicking him in the chest killing him on impact

'What the hell are you" said the biggest thief falling to the floor in fear

"Me I am just the butler of Miss Lilith" Connor said before ripping his head off

After turning back to normal Connor placed their bodies in his inventory and changed into a new set of clothing. going back to the inn all eyes were on Connor some filled with shock, others with fear, that's because the people Connor just killed were b-rank adventurers and the biggest one was an A-rank. Ignoring the looks he was getting Connor grabbed a hold to Lilith's had and went to their room.

"Connor what happened are you okay" said Lilith worried

"don't worry Lilith I am fine, but are you okay" Connor said

"Yea I'm fine' Lilith said trying to hide her arm

Seeing this Connor took Lilith's arm and saw a hand mark on it from one of the bandits. getting angry Connor lost control a activated his bloodlust

"Connor please calm down it is nothing I'm fine" said Lilith reassuringly

"Very well, now please get some sleep we have a busy day tomorrow," said Connor

"What's going on tomorrow besides the tournament' Lilith asked curiously

"That is a secret for later," said Connor

"Your no fun" said Lilith pouting and hiding under her blanket

"Good night, Lilith," laughed Connor

"Good night, Connor, oh and Connor," said Lilith

"Yes Lilith"

"Thank you" said Lilith before going to bed

"It's my pleasure Lilith" said Connor before blowing the lights out
