We got closer towards the old rickety fence there was a gate bound with chains, I barely touched the iron bars and the gate opened wide, I looked at the others and shrugged from their overly accusing stares.

Walking in, I have noticed everything was falling apart, the stone that held up their homes seem to be decaying and turning into rubble, straw and clay falling away from the roof's as we slowly walked in further taking in our surroundings. It felt like desperation, sadness and despair a smell that was so sickly and sweet with the decay of flesh filled our noses, inside this sad little village. Time seemed to slow down, and just breathing the air made me sick.

The air felt thick the deeper we went the more I wanted to leave, wiping the sweat from my brow, I've noticed Aemeon wiping away tears from his eyes as he reminisced what had happened here.

"Our village was dying, I wanted her to come with me. But she hated me, she had every reason to I couldn't save her mother but I

So many questions and so little answers I must save the world, it's on my shoulders now. A hand was placed on my shoulder making me jolt looking up, Ariel stood there looking down at me as I sat there not knowing what to do her hands snaked up into my hair and I couldn't control my tears. We didn't talk, our emotions were just to heavy and too complicated to explain. I don't know who I am, I don't know where I had came from, who my family is; maybe this is the reason they gave up on me. An hour went passed and I was in her arms, the girl who saved my life by taking me with her, a girl who had so much to lose yet...She still picked me. I never fel

“I don't believe that, I think your only saying that so I don't worry. " Ariel explained in a huff. "So what if I am, at some point everything will be fine so threes no reason to fret over it," I replied. "Now Lucas, that may be true but we are here to help you; To follow your lead as to say." Merlin quickly reminded. "I get that but-," I got cut short. "Merlin is right, how are we supposed to help if you don't tell us the problem?" Aemeon recalled. Sighing I let go of Ariel's hand they don't seem to understand..Or maybe its I that don't understand how do I know this isn't some crazy spell like with the mad villagers that lost their sanity, what if I'm still in the village and I lost all sense. We snake through the treants, which I have now learned they can smell fear so we stayed as calm as we could. "If this is my fault, will you let me help fix it, the leaf didn't work anyway so let repent for what I had done," Aemeon spoke with despair. My hand in a fist at my side, "Can't be all bad can it, I mean we have each other," Said the demon who I haven't been able to lay to rest. What if there is no demon what if it's my darkest desires I'm to scared to admit? "Ooh, that's a good one. Someone's getting creative," the monster laughed as is went into the silence of my head. "Shut up, I'm not even talking to you," I said angrily covering my ears. "What?" Aemeon asked confused. "Sorry it's nothing, what were we talking about again?" I asked lost. "We were talking about that if I help I'd repent for what I have done." Aemeon said uncomfortably. "Right, okay what should we do?" I turned to Merlin in question. "Theres only one thing we can do," Merlin said solemnly. "Okay, well what is it?" I questioned. "You two must travel to Avalon," Merlin explained. "Only us?"

We creaked open the large gates as white mist surrounded us where we could see as if everything had been erased onto a blank canvas, nor could we see each other, other then the clasp of our hands together. We took another step and suddenly all the mist had been gone as if it had never been there to begin with. "Magic is weird." I noted to myself out loud.Ariel didn't reply, just gasped what she saw before her. I looked where she was gawking at and realized what was before us.If I didn't know better I would have thought there was a fight to the death in the trees.Unfortunately we both knew what truly happened here, the treants finally had their flesh filled meal. The image was nauseating, and this time they have not been swallowed whole. Instead it was a tortured act among the tree-people-eating monsters. One guy, over weight and hair loss, had his eyes wide open, there were no color in his eyes, white and life less. His mouth and chin covered in his own spattered blood. His body

I sighed scratching the back of my head. "Sounds like a bad idea," Lucifer said grudgingly. Those words were all I needed to make my decision. "Yeah, okay. You can come with us." I agreed. "You're such a foolish boy." He stated ambiguously.I mentally rolled my eyes. "Alright where are we?" I asked myself taking a look around. "The middle of no where?" The women said obviously.I gave her a quizzical look making her reply with. "Sorry, that much is obvious but I dont know where we are going." She said innocently. "Don't tell her anything," Lucifer whispered as if others were listening. "We are going to Avalon." I said out of spite.Lucifer groaned in the back of my mind and Ariel looked at me as if I betrayed our mission. "Avalon? I thought that was just a myth..." she trailed off looking from Ariel back to me. "I knew it you two are witches!" I walked past her, but changed my mind and turned around to face her again. "I heard about you, I know what you are," I said with a smirk. "Many people know who and what I am, so don't flatter yourself," Ashley said through sputter. "I heard about you from Merlin," I said in a low mumble.Ashley's eyes flashed in recognition as she eyed me closely. "What do you want from me?" She whispered. "Not sure what you mean, you came up to us, remember?" I said cheekily. "I don't know what game you're trying to play, but it won't work on me." She lashed quietly.I felt my mind shift and suddenly I'm watching from the sidelines. "I'm pretty sure you are quite aware," Lucifer spoke imitating my voice changing our eyes to a soulless black. Her eyes turned ember as wisps of hair licked around her through the wind and then shifted back to emerald green. I took her hand and pulled her quickly to the entrance as it is only a couple dozen feet away from us.The specks of sand dusted on my bare arms felt blistered as I moved agilely towards the next sand dune, I felt my skin redden and began to blister in this ridiculous heatwave. Once I got to my destination, I fell back against the dune feeling the burning sensation on my back making me sit up straighter and bolstering despair. I looked back making sure they didn’t hear me hiss in pain, they were walking toward me. ‘Shit’ I thought in my head as I strategically moved around it trying to not wince or make any sound. I looked over to where the girls were standing, and Ariel hid on the other side holding Gracie with her hand covering Gracie’s mouth making sure she doesn’t make a sound. “That was strange I swear I heard someone or something over here.” The first soldier spoke. “I think we are just hallucinating from the heat, we are in metal suits dressed in the desert, whose b

"My darling girl, I am your father." His words came like swords and they were meant to cut deep. "What kind of joke is this?" Ariel half-laughed. "Its no joke Ariel, It's true." The man said holding her hand between both of his. "Lies!" She pulled her hand away as if he'd burned her. "Shall I explain?" He asked calmly. The little girl was in the midst of climbing onto my back. I picked her up with ease and placed her in front of me. Are children really this adaptable? "Yes, I am not your parent, I cannot take care of you." I try passing the baby to his sister, I am not particularly fond of children, but the boy began to screech this awful sound so I placed him back on my lap. I sighed this is quite bothersome. "We will go to Camelot, what I remember from Merlin is that Camelot is on the way to Avalon." "Did I kill those men for nothing?" Ashley's voice came through the doorway. "I thought you were dead." I say boredly. "I can't die from fire, I am fire." She says matter of fact. "Does that mean you can die by water?" I ask, smirking. "Wouldn't you like to know." She smirked back. "Anyway," She opened the door wider and the man from the burning building stood in the doorway. "Daddy!" The little girl yells running to him from across the room. Lucas's P.O.V I came to on the bottom floor. I looked around and the smoke was thick and flames were swallowing the walls licking up to the next floor. "Lucifer, we got to get those kids out," There was no answer just the sounds crackling newly kindling. "Lucifer, stop messing around, we have to get out." I say again, but it was left hanging in the air with pure silence. I began to choke on smoke in my lungs, I can't breathe, I need air, I fell back to my knees, I look up through the hole in the ceiling, the kids stopped crying and screaming, that not a good sign, I have to get out, but how? I look around and notice a part of the stairs that were still being enveloped with flames, I jumped over them onto the top stair, I could feel it creek underneath my weight. Lucifer has really bad timing to just leave from existence in the worst situations but there's no time to think about that right now. I jump from the stairs and grab onto the edge of the wooden planks and pull myself

We were ordered to bring him to camelot.” “By whose orders?” Ashleys hands turned into flames. “The kings hand.” The second knight replied finishing tying the rope tight around Ariel’s wrists. “And by what means are you to tie them?” Ashley questioned snidely. “It is no business of your’s girl, stay out of it.” The first knight replied. “Oh this is going to be good.” Lucifer commented outloud. “What did you say?” The knight asked turning his head away from Ashley. “Big mistake.” Lucifer said with a sinister smile. The room turned into a fire like tornado, the whole room was now in smoke, there was no room to run. “Lucifer, take o

Lucifer’s P.O.V Luke finally passed out from all of that alcohol he, drank because our body feels heavy and sluggish, I opened my eyes and realized he didn’t just pass out but we were entangled with Ariel and she was petting my head gently. I closed my eyes again and decided to show Lucas just why I wanted to destroy the world, maybe then instead of fighting against me we could work together, this will be what decides our fate from here on out, and if he isn’t on my side I’ll have no choice but to kill him and take over. Lucas’s P.O.V I looked around realizing this isn’t my own memory or dreams but I was back in heaven before Lucifer had gotten banished. “Look what I created, just as you taught me!” Lucifer stands behind God holding out something that did not in any way resemble human, nor animal, it looked sinister, like a first homemade creation from a child that needs much more practice. “Creations are not for you to mess with Lucifer, I told you this many times. Stop messin

I didn’t respond, we should have left when we had the chance. Ariel placed the amulet underneath her clothing, and sighed. “Whatever is going on we have to get to Avalon, they must know something to all of this.” ‘They will know nothing, only made up possibilities.’ Lucifer comments. ‘You weren’t going to give me back my body were you.’ it wasn’t a question but a known statement his power is growing everyday, becoming

He stares at Ariel for a long moment, he can feel her energy, the holy spirit. I know this, because I can feel it too, maybe not in the beginning when I was getting used to Lucas’s body. However, it’s getting stronger as weeks go by. He then looks back at me, and if it wasn’t for the entertainment, I’d probably give Lucas control again.Gabriel must have clued in, she know’s nothing about me other than the denial she has for Michael, which makes things that much interesting. The one with the legacy to save or destroy humankind, how intriguing.” Gabriel says as he walks closer towards me.“I wish to learn more about this prophecy, how is it that I am one of all these responsibilities?” I ask, waiting for Lucas to say something, but he didn’t his voice was silent.“You would ask this, wouldn’t you, the craving and the desire
