We creaked open the large gates as white mist surrounded us where we could see as if everything had been erased onto a blank canvas, nor could we see each other, other then the clasp of our hands together.

We took another step and suddenly all the mist had been gone as if it had never been there to begin with.

"Magic is weird." I noted to myself out loud.

Ariel didn't reply, just gasped what she saw before her. I looked where she was gawking at and realized what was before us.

If I didn't know better I would have thought there was a fight to the death in the trees.

Unfortunately we both knew what truly happened here, the treants finally had their flesh filled meal.

The image was nauseating, and this time they have not been swallowed whole. Instead it was a tortured act among the tree-people-eating monsters.

One guy, over weight and hair loss, had his eyes wide open, there were no color in his eyes, white and life less.

His mouth and chin covered in his own spattered blood.

His body

I walked past her, but changed my mind and turned around to face her again. "I heard about you, I know what you are," I said with a smirk. "I heard about you from Merlin," I said in a low mumble.Ashley's eyes flashed in recognition as she eyed me closely. "What do you want from me?" She whispered. I took her hand and pulled her quickly to the entrance as it is only a couple dozen feet away from us.The specks of sand dusted on my bare arms felt blistered as I moved agilely towards the next sand dune, I felt my skin redden and began to blister in this ridiculous heatwave. Once I got to my destination, I fell back against the dune feeling the burning sensation on my back making me sit up straighter and bolstering despair. I looked back making sure they didn’t hear me hiss in pain, they were walking toward me. ‘Shit’ I thought in my head as I strategically moved around it trying to not wince or make any sound. I looked over to where the girls were standing, and Ariel hid on the other side holding Gracie with her hand covering Gracie’s mouth making sure she doesn’t make a sound. “That was strange I swear I heard someone or something over here.” The first soldier spoke. “I think we are just hallucinating from the heat, we are in metal suits dressed in the desert, whose b

"So will you not going to tell me?" She questioned getting irritated. I kept quiet I know what happens when she gets mad. "I have to tell you, whether I want to or not, it is my duty." He sat up straighter. "Alright well, hurry up I'm very tired." She replied. He took her hand gently in his and took everything in me not to let go of my anger. "My darling girl, I am your father." His words came like swords and they were meant to cut deep. "What kind of joke is this?" Ariel half-laughed. "Its no joke Ariel, It's true." The man said holding her hand between both of his. "Lies!" She pulled her hand away as if he'd burned her. "Shall I explain?" He asked calmly. Margons' P.O.V I stood over the hills of the town of Playtom, you could smell the food and beer from here. My eye socket encrusted with blood, the one who stole my concubine will be killed and slaughtered. I could smell the magic in the air, the lust of killing was also quite strong. "Little concubine I can smell you from here, did you really think that it was over?" I mumbled under my breath. "Sir we have news," Garofalo stated. "Well what is it?" I demanded. "Sir we have gotten news that King Arthur has been reincarnated and he may or may not be located here." He explained. "That's ridiculous, King Arthur's been dead for over a milionia and reincarnation is a myth." I stated. "We know that sir but he's been seen here." Garofalo stated once more. I stopped in my tracks as I had a sudden memory about how awful it was being back on those streets of mudhaven panning and pickpocketing for hours just to get enough money for a slice of bread. I took a breath as I effortlessly put my hands in my pockets looking for a change, knowing I had none, and instead of an empty pocket, I found coins in place. I was shocked, where did all this money come from? I gave him five dollars, and he passed me a newspaper and went in his change hat, and started picking up change. “Keep the change kid,” I said walking away. “A-are you sure?” He called after me. “You need

I have to make it to Ariel quickly before they find her alone. Quietly I made my way through the alley the cobblestoned walls rough and rigid as I placed my hand against it cautiously. I took a peek around the wall where they were standing, I forgot how large and muscular they were. "The only way for you to defeat them is if you let me take full control." Lucifer objectified. "Since when do you ask or need permission?" I questioned rolling my eyes. "That's only partially my power, in order to use it fully I must ask your permission to do the rest." He explained gritting our teeth. "Is that like a consensual thing, or?" I questioned teasingly. "Will you shut up and answer the question," he asked irritated. I took a minute to think about it, how do I know he isn't doing this to trick me? "Sorry not going to happen." I said slyly. "Better not get caught then," Lucifer said with a grunt. The little girl was in the midst of climbing onto my back. I picked her up with ease and placed her in front of me. Are children really this adaptable? "Yes, I am not your parent, I cannot take care of you." I try passing the baby to his sister, I am not particularly fond of children, but the boy began to screech this awful sound so I placed him back on my lap. I sighed this is quite bothersome. "We will go to Camelot, what I remember from Merlin is that Camelot is on the way to Avalon." "Did I kill those men for nothing?" Ashley's voice came through the doorway. "I thought you were dead." I say boredly. "I can't die from fire, I am fire." She says matter of fact. "Does that mean you can die by water?" I ask, smirking. "Wouldn't you like to know." She smirked back. "Anyway," She opened the door wider and the man from the burning building stood in the doorway. "Daddy!" The little girl yells running to him from across the room. Lucas's P.O.V I came to on the bottom floor. I looked around and the smoke was thick and flames were swallowing the walls licking up to the next floor. "Lucifer, we got to get those kids out," There was no answer just the sounds crackling newly kindling. "Lucifer, stop messing around, we have to get out." I say again, but it was left hanging in the air with pure silence. I began to choke on smoke in my lungs, I can't breathe, I need air, I fell back to my knees, I look up through the hole in the ceiling, the kids stopped crying and screaming, that not a good sign, I have to get out, but how? I look around and notice a part of the stairs that were still being enveloped with flames, I jumped over them onto the top stair, I could feel it creek underneath my weight. Lucifer has really bad timing to just leave from existence in the worst situations but there's no time to think about that right now. I jump from the stairs and grab onto the edge of the wooden planks and pull myself

We were ordered to bring him to camelot.” “By whose orders?” Ashleys hands turned into flames. “The kings hand.” The second knight replied finishing tying the rope tight around Ariel’s wrists. “And by what means are you to tie them?” Ashley questioned snidely. “It is no business of your’s girl, stay out of it.” The first knight replied. “Oh this is going to be good.” Lucifer commented outloud. “What did you say?” The knight asked turning his head away from Ashley. “Big mistake.” Lucifer said with a sinister smile. The room turned into a fire like tornado, the whole room was now in smoke, there was no room to run. “Lucifer, take o

Lucifer’s P.O.V Luke finally passed out from all of that alcohol he, drank because our body feels heavy and sluggish, I opened my eyes and realized he didn’t just pass out but we were entangled with Ariel and she was petting my head gently. I didn’t respond, we should have left when we had the chance. Ariel placed the amulet underneath her clothing, and sighed. “Whatever is going on we have to get to Avalon, they must know something to all of this.” ‘They will know nothing, only made up possibilities.’ Lucifer comments. ‘You weren’t going to give me back my body were you.’ it wasn’t a question but a known statement his power is growing everyday, becoming

The one with the legacy to save or destroy humankind, how intriguing.” Gabriel says as he walks closer towards me.“I wish to learn more about this prophecy, how is it that I am one of all these responsibilities?” I ask, waiting for Lucas to say something, but he didn’t his voice was silent.“You would ask this, wouldn’t you, the craving and the desire
