That's when it had finally come to my attention that that baby was me. I chased after the woman; my mother but I hit an invisible wall.

I banged and body checked trying to get through screaming for her, yet no sound came out of my lungs, not even a sound came through the air choking on air.

I dropped to my knees as I cried silently watching her run into the darkness between the buildings and trees; leaving me behind.

She had blonde long hair that sparkled against the moonlight.

The one person I'd been looking for my entire life slipped out of my fingers, and just like that she was gone and the baby; I mean me was picked up by Saint Agatha, the most loving and caring woman I had ever met.

I reached out for her, but before I knew it,

the nightmare ended.

I awoke to a wet, cold cloth on my forehead. It seemed oddly uncomfortable so I took it off and grunted getting up off the cot.

  "I wouldn't do that if I were you," a female voice said in the dimly lit room.
