Chapter 9

"This bread is very good," I thought to myself.

The taste of the bread turned out to be beyond my imagination. Behind the very, very ordinary appearance of the bread, it turns out that a taste is created that is so delicious. I greedily devoured that piece of bread without me realizing it.

"Slow down, Evan. Drink this water so you don't choke," Robert said attentively to me.

Indeed, I also did not expect that I could not stop chewing for the sake of chewing in my mouth, I had finished one piece of bread and some fruit but it felt like I was still so hungry, and hungry it felt like I still wanted to continue to finish the food.

"It's true what I said earlier that this bread tastes so delicious, we can finish it all," Robert said confidently.

"Hu'um, you're right, Robert," I replied in agreement as I chewed on the second bread.

I didn't expect this bread to taste so good so amazing. Either I'm already feeling starved or is it the taste of this bread that is so good that it tastes like my mouth won't stop either? Robert couldn't help but smile at the sight of me being so greedy for hunger.

It didn't feel like Robert and I finally finished the entire contents of the food brought by Robert just now.

"Huh," I said at the same time as Robert.

I and Robert started lying on each other's beds because of the satiety that now came to both of us.

"Evan do you know why we can finish all these meals imperceptibly?" Robert said to me.

"No. So what about us Robert?" My words were full of question marks.

"Because we have spent our Energy in the magic Element testing just now. So we feel very starving right now" Robert explained.

"Oh so it's like that," I said to Robert.

I didn't expect that Robert turned out to be quite knowledgeable about everything. There was a sense of relief that I was able to room and meet such a good person as Robert.

"Thank you, Robert," I said again to Robert.

"What thank you, Evan. We are friends" Robert said with a smile.

I also returned the smile of my roommate's little boy. Even though I was a mature person but I didn't expect that I would meet a good little boy like Robert.

"I will also treat you well Robert," I said to myself.

"Ah!" Said Robert, who then began to rise to his feet.

"What's Robert?" I asked a little surprised.

"Evan do you have any brothers?" Robert asked suddenly.

"Hemm yes. As you can see. I have a twin sister" I said casually.

"Is the beautiful girl named Ella just now?" Robert asked so radiantly.

"yes, that's how it is" I replied soberly.

"Wow, it's amazing. I didn't expect that you are Ella Evan's twin sister! Just now I noticed your name and you have the same surname. At first, I just suspected it but I didn't expect that you two are indeed brothers" Robert said so excitedly.

"What's the matter with Robert?" I asked starting to get suspicious.

"No. There's nothing I just feel amazed to see your twin sister Ella who has the magic element of Light. It was truly amazing. Besides being beautiful, Ella also has great magic elements" Robert told me.

From the twinkling eyes of the boy, I could have guessed that Robert had been amazed by Ella's greatness. Well, it's only natural that Robert is like that because if I were also a boy Robert's age I would also feel very amazed by a little girl like Ella who was not only beautiful but also great.

"yes Ella is indeed very great," I said to Robert.

After talking enough I and Robert started to fall asleep in our sleep.

What I remember is that I was asleep at the moment. But a few moments later when I opened both my eyes, I suddenly felt like I was somewhere that felt very unfamiliar.

The place was so bright full of red light that burned like a violent blaze. Although it seemed very hot it was in a place full of flames, but in fact, it didn't feel hot to me at all. And even everything hurts my body altogether.

"What's the matter? Where am I? Why does this place feel so strange? What's the matter with this extremely bright red light? It was red like a burning blaze," I said in astonishment.

The place was just full of fiery red light without anything else there, there was only me alone in that unfamiliar place. However, suddenly there was one black spot of light that began to approach me. The black light caught my eye so much that I didn't realize it I started to be interested in wanting to grasp it. The seemingly unfamiliar and strange black light was getting closer and closer to me until finally without me noticing I started holding the black dot in my hand.

"What black light is this?" I muttered softly as I grabbed the tiny black light. Like a very small point, even my small palm can still grasp it easily.

However, suddenly the black light began to emit an extremely powerful aura until it filled the entire room, which was originally fiery red. Even now the state looks very dark filled with darkness emanating from the black light just now.

"Ah!" I shouted as the black light began to attack me. My body also felt very painful.

"No... No!!" I shouted in a loud voice.

The darkness seemed to be eating me. My body hurts so much like being hit by thousands of stones that are attacking my body. Even my skin felt very sore as if I was being slashed by these thousands of knives that were stabbing my body. I had no idea what had happened, but what was certain was that the pain was real I was feeling it right now. A pain that I had never felt before at all.

I kept trying to fight and scream, but in reality, I was still in the shackles of this darkness that was currently torturing my body.
