“What do you mean by her crimes, Mason? Did the formal head nurse do something that is against the university rules?” she asked, her curiosity matching her facial expressions.

Mason nodded his head and said, “She didn't just go against the school rules; she went ahead to exploit students by collecting medical fees from them.”

His words instantly placed a shock on her face. “That's impossible! She wouldn't do something like that! Do you have any evidence to support such an allegation?” She asked, and Mason shook his head.

“That won't be necessary since she was already fired and later confessed to it,” he replied, watching as she tried to wrap her head around the revelation. He didn't need any hint to know that the new dean of students knew the formal head nurse.

“How come the investigator I placed on you never mentioned anything about that?” she muttered to herself, and when she raised her gaze to him, she realized Mason had overheard her words.
