"My guest?" The man asked with a furrowed brow. He glanced at Mason and shifted his gaze to Jero, "Give me one reason why I shouldn't kill you right now!"

Confusion washed over

Jero's face as he switched his gaze from Mason to his master, realizing he had been lied to. He quickly crumbled to his knees. "M…Master forgive me. I wouldn't have made such a mistake if he hadn't threatened to be a very important person to you," Jero replied.

The man shifted his gaze back to Mason, whose eyes were moving around the room. "Who are you? Are you a cop? Why did you tell Jero you are my guest?" the man asked.

Mason cleared his throat and stepped forward, ignoring the pending question. "I would like to ask for a few things. Let my friend go and stop bothering the university to pay you any dues because it won't," Mason said. The man shifted his eyes to Jeremiah and then back to Mason.

"Do you have a death wish?" He puzzled at Mason, who furrowed his brow. "You don't seem to be scared of me."
