A Glass of Wine

The underground tunnels turned out to be much longer than Aaron had thought. The scenery never changed, making the journey truly nauseating.

But after everything, Aaron felt a great admiration for the workers of the past who had made this long path underground with a structural quality that was close to perfection. Aaron wasn't sure how long it would take to complete the construction, but it would certainly take more than five years of non-stop work.

On several occasions during the journey, Aaron came across several wells and inventories of food and weapons. Although most of the items in the inventory were unusable, some of the wells were still filled to the brim with potable water.

This journey with the same scenery always made Aaron momentarily forget that their horses needed to rest and drink. He only really realized it after the pace of the black horse he was riding began to slowly decrease.

"Stop here and give the horses a drink!" He ordered Dariowyn and Rong En at the back.
