Three Years of Drought, Deadwood Town

Aaron sat in front of a small campfire in the middle of the forest and looked up at the night sky. He opened his character status menu and checked his level. "Level 400," he muttered, with a small smile on his lips. "Only 100 more levels to reach the big goal."

Aaron then eyed the Night Sky Sword, his flagship sword. He knew the sword was already strong enough to fight many formidable enemies, but he also realized that it needed repairs to function optimally again.

"Night Sky Sword, I have to take it to the city for repairs," Aaron thought to himself. "I can't take any chances against Mordecai. I have to make sure that my sword is in the best condition possible."

Aaron entered Deadwood Town on his racehorse. He was shocked to see a very arid and neglected town. The ancient wooden buildings looked decayed and on the verge of collapse. There were no parks or green grass around, only dust and arid land that made him dumbfounded.

"What a strange city. There seems to be no life here,"
