Chapter 123. Strange lady

An unknown lady, having her hands on the trigger of the gun which had killed the man, strode out towards them. She gave Nichola a nod and he stared at her, wondering who she was and what she was doing there.

"Watch out", she called and Nichola strike the attacking man with a heavy blow, causing him to fly feet away from him and silence permeated the air.

Nichola straightened himself, stone faced and he glanced at all the men that were down.

The strange lady ambled over to him and kept her gun behind her, crossing her arms against her chest.

" I supposed you are alright, and I stopped that asshole before he could injure you."

She started, staring casually at Nichola.

Nichola spared her a glance, but there was no expression on his face.

" Why are you here?"

" Why am I here?" The lady jerked her head backward and repeated, pointing to herself before she tossed her hair to one side and looked away from Nichola.

" A simple thank you is enough if you don't know what to say rathe
