Waking up to the dawn of a new day, Ethan couldn't feel anything but an intense throbbing pain in his palm the second his eyes fluttered open.

“Shit!” he exclaimed as he tightened his eyes in pain. He sat up on his bed, staring at it briefly. He felt like cutting off his arm, but that was his right hand, and anything reckless could ruin his chances of getting a good job done.

Just then, he briefly recalled how he had gotten injured in his hand and didn't hesitate to clench his jaw tightly.

“NOVATECH!!! I'll come for you!” he declared as he glanced at his hand one more time.

Without hesitation, and knowing that he had so much work to do at the company, he stood up from the bed and made his way to the bathroom.
