Chapter eighteen

At around eleven in the morning, someone knocked on the door and disturbed Authur's sleep.

"Who's that?" Authur groggily said, not looking from up the bed.

He opened his eyes slowly and touched the side of the bed. He recalled that a woman was with him but he couldn't remember her face clearly so he wondered where she might have gone to.

What happened last night was still unclear to him and he couldn't remember anything.

The only thing he remembered was that a woman helped him into the room.

His head and his body ached all over, he lazily stood up from the bed and went towards the door to see who was knocking.

"Would you like to have breakfast? We have a lot of dishes and I brought them late because a lady asked me to do so before she left in the early hours of the morning" A man said and opened the door with the spare key.

"A lady? Where did she go?" Authur asked and placed his hand on his head to stop the burning pain he was feeling.
