Just like their names, the Black Fang Eagles developed two black fangs from the third wave of radiation. These fangs were unlike the ordinary fangs of mutated animals. They carried venom with hallucinogenic effects. Once an ordinary, or even a superhuman, got punctured by the fangs, they would fall into a realm of illusions and nightmares, never to reawaken again. Isolated from the rest of the country by water on all sides, an ancient, primitive forest could be seen encircling a tall blue-gray mountain that stretched into the clouds.
