"I wonder how Irene and the rest of the group are doing?" Ella wondered out loud, and felt gleeful at the thought. Since the start of the apocalypse, she'd been taking care of the three. While the rest of the world was in turmoil and people entered a killing frenzy for food and supplies, she kept them fed with the food cans in her backpack, sparing them from such an ordeal.
