44 Zein's Dilemma

Dropping his phone, Zein paced across his room, his fists clenched and his face twisted.

The random calls were driving him crazy, and his useless IT experts weren't making things easy.

Not even the guys in the national intelligence had been able to track the caller, as it kept linking to the wrong place.

And now, the caller issued some subtle threats, which he couldn't share with King Khaled.

Gritting his teeth, he let pit a long breath.

'Drastic situations require drastic measures.'' He snickered.

Grabbing his second phone, he dialled the contact he had been avoiding for a while now, seeing that he was left with no choice.

Beep!

''Why are you calling?'' The familiar, husky voice of Omar rang from the phone.

Holding his breath, Zein forced a smile. ''I heard that your men were ambushed in their last operation.''

''And?'' Omar replied in a curt tone.

"Don't you find it fishy, no one knew about this operation if I'm correct, no?'' Zein mumbled.
