Kay's guilt, part 1

"Shit… fuck!" Kay punched a wall on the second floor, right after throwing up. He never felt so shaken, not even with what happened back on his childhood. "THAT was Long?! How the hell am I suppose to fight that?!"

His cries went answered, since some plants went with him. They were clearly young, so little that they would be considered infants in human years. A lot of them looked at him without understanding what was happening, but one had a more unique look on its face.

"You will have to…" It said, with a voice resembling a child in a cave. It was a bit clueless and cute, but had a unique echo to it. "Father will not survive this fight."

"Great… why does these things keep happening to me." Kay sighted, and then looked at the boss doors. He was already out of range from the third floor entrance, but he still could feel the pressure. "He better win."

"He won't."

"Yeah, but he better turn this situation around. I don't care how!" His knuckles tightened, showing his anger and despair. No
