The four barren planets surrounded Tersa's planet, their surfaces only a few hundred miles apart. These were entire planets, and ones much bigger than Earth.Without suspense, Dream commenced the merger. With a wave of his hand, the planets each slightly shifted. Then, their surfaces started to roil. Each planet was composed entirely of nanites that could be manipulated according to Dream's will. When Dream fired into the sky, the barbarian was shocked. After Dream left the battlefield, he shuttled all the way back to Tersa's planet with Melody.He hadn't sustained much in the way of wounds, but he had actually expended most of his energy. Pulling out class 6 souls wasn't easy even when the enemy was near dead. So while the attacks didn't consume his energy, everything else did.Dream was more than okay with this though. Dream entered another round of isolated research. As far as he was concerned, nothing at this point was more important than his own advancement, so he wouldn't emerge until it was finished.The first thing he did was study a soul. He wanted to try and understand how a class 6 soul worked. According to the things he's read, only a class 6 soul could make contact with and draw power from concepts. Thus, becoming a class 6 was like having the gates of the universe open to you. Nobody with any lesser a soul was capable of making contact with concepts, and they certainly weren't aware of their existence.However, many months ago, Dream had disproven this fact.
