After Dream made the deal with Cavra, he decided that there wasn't much of a reason to stick around and waste time. He had the word of the most powerful man on this planet. That was enough. So he needed to make preparations. Dream reappeared in the flagship while Cavra disappeared.Melody looked at Dream weirdly."What was that?""I made a deal with Cavra.""That old man?""Yea. Once I show him some soldiers, he'll bring us to the primary world. Then I'll become the Blood Drop Clan's defense contractor.""...I'm starting to think you're just an arms dealer now.""It's a great way to get and do what I want. Anyway, because I have all I need from that city, there's no reason for us to stay. How about we go and visit Earth?"Dream spoke as he waved his hand, a portal appearing next to him. Melody's eyes went wide."Earth? Really?! Can we actually go back?""Sure. The portal is still there, and I made sure it would act as an anchor that I could return to. It'll be no problem.""Then let's
Dream's focus returned from his concepts. In front of him was the portal. The sudden changes from his enlightenment and the subsequent conversations only lasted a few minutes.[Universal War huh...]Sophia was a bit fearful of the information she got from Dream. His tiny action of taking control of a concept had actually set off such huge waves. It seemed unreasonable. Couldn't they just glance over it and leave it as an anomaly? But instead, they immediately laid out the colossal ramifications for doing what Dream did. There was no escaping what just happened, no hiding it from their eyes. Now, Dream was going to be attacked by a faction that spanned the entire universe. There were literal gods that would be hunting him. How was he supposed to escape this?Luckily, his identity was still hidden. Nobody knew who he was. When Dream grabbed the spear of Vursoid, he had been given a ton of information. First was the true identity of Vursoid. He was the leader of one of the 7 highest Asur
"What the hell just happened?!"As Dream and Tersa hung around outside the planet, there was a ship that suddenly sped toward them. Out came a panicking Melody. Behind her in the ship was their mother."Hi mom!"Dream waved like a child when he saw his mother, ignoring Melody's shock. She waved back, although a bit absentmindedly.Seeing Dream's mother, Tersa became a bit curious, looking at Shannon with wide eyes. At the same time, Melody poked at Dream."What did you do?! Since when do you merge planets just because?!""I didn't do it just because. I did it because I want to take Earth along with me. Now you can see mom and dad whenever you want.""That's true, but at least make some preparations first! You literally just tore the planet apart! People are going crazy! Besides, you left some people behind.""Left people? Oh!"Suddenly, Dream remembered something.Earth had advanced to create megastructures and navigate space. How could they have not colonized other planets like Mars?
After a few hours, Dream was able to get a hold of the situation.Everyone in Dream's immediate family was marked, their souls taking on this symbol of the ascendency. They also gained titles, but since they weren't Dream's children, their titles were special. His parents had a title displaying their position above Dream and his siblings received a title reflecting their position beside him. Of course, they didn't suddenly gain power equal or above his, or any authority. But surprisingly, they did still gain power. Dream's parents had risen to the class 3 realm, while only one of Dream's brothers became a class 4. While they couldn't compare to Melody's power when she was at the same level, compared to the general populace, they were actually normal. But now, both of Dream's parents spontaneously broke through to have class 4 power. Even Dream's brothers had a burst in power. Not even Melody was spared, gaining more power than all of them. And Dream could feel his effects on them. The
The Red Eye clan was exceptionally busy. At the moment, they were making final preparations. Many just stayed in their homes as they were instructed, while people from all over the planet returned to their roots. Like that, everything associated with the Red Eye clan concentrated on their cities.Patriarch Star sat in the capital city. Dream had told them to gather in a select few cities and wait. He also gave them a deadline. At that time, he would move them all, though he didn't say how. They were given plenty of time, and now, they were finally ready. Now, they just waited. That was when Patriarch Star sensed something. Standing, he left the building he was in and looked at the sky.A mile above the city, a hole in space opened. This hole expanded from one mile wide to a thousand miles wide, and it didn't stop there. Everyone on the ground was baffled as the sky became black, turning the city below pitch black as well. After a few seconds though, everyone felt suspended before the
Orin nodded at Dream."Very well. Your services are welcome. We fight a great many battles with Hell, and these disposable soldiers will help us mitigate losses. Of course, you will be properly compensated. What do you wish for?""Well, first and foremost, I have a sister who needs training. You see, she's an asura who happened to inherit the so called Blood Drop Stance. I'd like her to receive tutelage.""I understand. How about I take her as a disciple?""I like that idea."Dream readily agreed. Of course, Melody's life would be out of his hands if she were being taught by the sword god, but on the other hand, there was no better way for her power to explosively grow. Dream was sure she'd like this idea, and to some extent, he trusted this sword god."Other than that, I need materials. These bots require great sources of power, and strong materials help greatly.""Of course. You'll be paid for their use, and upon destruction, we'll give you the materials to create another. You'll co
A month after Dream officially spread his business, word spread like wildfire.Dream knew it would take a while for publicity to reach him. In truth, he had actually expected a month to be all he needed for his business to explode. And sure enough, it happened exactly as he thought.Dream's bots were too useful. They were manufactured power, something unseen in the wider universe. Dream didn't know of any others, god or otherwise, that could make use of physical energy and arcane transmutation to create bots capable of crushing anything above the class 3 level. After all, normal power was individualized. A person had to increase the power of their souls through skills and levels, opening up larger energy reserves that could be used to move magic with greater power. But these bots didn't need the energy reserves of a soul. They could use energy from physical sources and convert it into magical power. While this conversion wasn't infinite, relying on enchantments to transmute, Dream mad
The last place Dream stopped was Kevin's mountain. At the base, he walked through the entrance of a mineshaft before descending through the eerily silent tunnels. At first, Dream didn't think that this tunnel could descend very far. From the ground until the edge of this world, one could only descend 2 miles at most. Dream's metal tree rooted a bit over a mile deep before hitting the edge of the inverted world. But Dream was easily able to tell when he went far deeper than what was possible. At some point, he went 20 miles deep. It was only here that he finally arrived at the end of the long tunnel. The sounds of clanging metal rang out as Dream turned a corner. When he peeked out, he saw Kevin digging away with his pickaxe. It didn't look like there was anything special behind his actions, but Dream refused to believe he did this for no reason."If you're here for tutelage, then start digging."Kevin plainly spoke, prompting Dream to conjure a pickaxe out of thin air. Merely using th
