"Now, what are these skills exactly?"As Dream looked at his new skills, he felt a rush of excitement.[Particle Manipulation is the evolved material magic and Arcana is the evolved Magic.]"Actually, let's go over your own upgrades first."[Ok! Well, I really only gained one ability called [Construct]. You were originally supposed to get it but it was integrated with me by that dude. Other than that, my original abilities like emulator, perception, mind space, and cognitive manipulation were evolved. Though they didn't really change names. Here's what it looks like.][Sophia]:[Mind Space] - A space created from the cognitive ability of the soul. Similar to a virtual space. Informations can be stored and processed here.[Parallel Processing] - Allows user to separate their thought process and analysis of phenomena.[Thought Acceleration] - Multiplies thought speed according to level and Agility.[Emulator] - The ability to analyze, copy, and modify skills. Requires understanding of t
As they approached the Mountain, the three could see huge crowds of people attempting to go through the gates."The biggest meeting anyone has ever seen. I guess it would be rather popular."Riddick spoke as he overlooked the city. They had been here only 4 or 5 months ago."Oh, that reminds me. I'm 21 now."Dream suddenly thought of his birthday. He had been asleep for it. Well, suffering through hell was more like it. He had also missed Christmas, his favorite holiday.[It's almost Valentine's day.]'I guess you're right.'Hearing that, Dream wasn't so downtrodden. Though the other two were surprised to hear that Dream's birthday was recently."You recently had your birthday?""You guys have that here?""We do.""Then yes. Mine was about a month ago, when I was recovering.""Oh. Well, happy birthday.""Thanks."Dream smiled to Idona. It was always nice hearing it."Anyway, where am I supposed to land?""Go straight to the castle. That's where the meeting is being held.""Will they l
"Attention! The meeting will now commence!"With a shout, the hall went silent and the same bearded man, Shane, began the meeting."First, a quick opening statement. This meeting has been called together by the Empires under the banner of the alliance to discuss the newly arisen threat known as the demons. Everyone here had agreed that measures must be taken against them, though the methods and details of these measures are varied and different. This is what we are here to discuss and, hopefully, reach an agreement on.Now, everyone here has no doubt received pieces of intelligence that describe these demons in detail. This intelligence will be discussed first so everyone can come to an agreement on their threat level, and this agreement is what will be the foundation for all other discussions. And so, as the provider of this intelligence, I would like to ask Dream some questions."The bearded man turned his head to Dream's seat, which prompted everyone else in the theater to do the s
The meeting continued on for the rest of its allotted time. For the most part, Dream had remained quiet throughout, only clarifying some information where it needed to be. Since he wasn't the ruler of an Empire, he couldn't dictate everything and had to let them come to their own compromise. If he pushed too hard in fact, it would lead to the opposite result. So the meeting went on for a while more before people began finishing up their discussions. Shane eventually spoke up when it came time."Alright. We are approaching the end of this part. Would anyone like to make any last statements?"After he asked, a few people spoke up and made final remarks. As they did, several people looked to Dream, as if expecting something.Noticing their gazes, he figured that he could say one last thing."Can I say something?""Of course."Everyone listened in on perhaps the most controversial person in the meeting."...A wise man once said: 'The only thing necessary for evil to triumph, is for good m
When Dream was presented with all of his resources, Sophia began listing them off.[6000 tons of steel, 1800 tons of silver, and 1200 tons of other miscellaneous materials like copper, tungsten, graphite, and others. Guess how much of the silver and steel is grade 8.]"Hmm, 10%?"[Try 30%. The bots never stopped their enhancements and have continuously been blowing things up.]"I guess that explains why this station is filled with mana fog."Dream looked around the storage, noticing the dense fog that was ever-present.[It gathered up over time as the robots kept pulling more and more mana. But here's the best part. We've got loads of grade 9 material. The only reason why it's not higher is because the robots could never explode metal of such strength.]"How much grade 9?"[400 tons for steel and 150 tons for silver.]"Haha, we're rich!"[I guess that's one way to look at it.]Dream smiled even wider as he looked upon the super valuable resources. He walked over to a pallet and picked
"You're trying to help us escape."Selene looked at Dream with eyes of disbelief."Not just help you. Pretty soon, Riddick and I are coming over there to get you guys out.""Really?!"Iris shouted in joy, a smile blooming on her face."That's right, baby.""Wait, I don't think you understand how dangerous that is.""Oh believe me I do. But there's a reason we're doing it now. In fact, let's bring him on right now."The next moment, another image appeared in their vision. It was a man, reaching up into a bookshelf."Dad!""Hm? Iris? Selene?"Riddick looked around in confusion before laying eyes on Dream."You told them?""Pretty much. Though I didn't want to spoil your news, so I brought you on.""Hmph. I guess now's the best time.""Riddick? What happened?"Selene looked to Riddick curiously."I've advanced to class 4.""What? Really?! Haha! Dad advanced!""Congratulations!"The girls got excited and congratulated their dad. Meanwhile, Selene looked at him in thought."...You know how
About an hour after they plotted the designs, Dream and Sophia had finished constructing boosters and ships. The first boosters they created were one that would transport the railgun platforms. Once they finished those they connected them to the existing reactor onboard and hooked them up to the structure. This made the railguns totally mobile and capable of moving anywhere in the world.Next were the ships. Well, he actually only needed one, but he made 5. On the ships were much smaller torus reactors than the ones the railguns used, being only 5 feet in diameter. He put these in the roof of the ships where they were then connected to two small reactor engines on each of the wings, similar to the VTOLs he had previously made just with double the engines. He also armored each ship heavily with high-grade steel as well as liquid mana-based enchantments for stealth and defense. This was going to be used to escape after all and they needed to be able to take hits, resist spells, and run
"Old Man. Gimme your densest mana."After quickly forming the enchantments in the suit, Dream then needed to integrated Riddick's mana directly. This would ensure that his spells would work as they were designed for his mana, not Dream's."Ok. Just be careful.""Whoah"After Riddick began streaming liquid mana and Dream grabbed a hold of it, he suddenly felt how different it was.Riddick's mana was not only extremely destructive, but incredibly hard to control. Dream had to really stress himself to even guide it over to the suit."What the hell happened to your mana?!""It was a part of my advancement. I'm honestly surprised you're able to control it at all.""Well the only reason I can is because of my own advancement."As Dream spoke and controlled the mana, he could see a few notifications stream down his vision.'Two levels. Nice.'[I'm analyzing this mana. It's not normal mana.]'Is it just because of a skill?'[No. In fact, I
