With the classification of his species, the experience that was flowing into him dwindled, and no more notifications appeared in his vision."..."Dream was silent as he went over the changes to his body once more. The girls stared at him as he relaxed on the couch."...Is that it?"Iris eventually spoke up, curious. On the outside, they hadn't noticed much happen. This was because Dream had full control over the power flowing into him. Nothing really leaked out, and the only reason they knew something happened was because the mana in the surroundings surged to him momentarily. Other than that, everything was normal."That's it. I've officially completed my class advancement."Dream smiled and stood up from the couch. Iris frowned though."It didn't seem like much happened. Was that prophet class a bad one? Oh! What level are you?"Iris suddenly remembered the cause for her excitement and asked."I'm level 388 now.""Wow. That's high. We're only level 376, and that was with the consta
The first thing Dream targeted for reconstruction were his assembly lines that filled many square miles of space. These things took up nearly all of the space in his giant cube factory, so there was naturally a lot. With his new power though, this much was inconsequential. The way his machines and assembly lines were designed was actually rather simplistic. The robot bodies were made entirely by mechanical devices, and then they were stamped with enchantments. For the mechanical side, he really didn't have to change much. Other than some optimizations in the designs, they were as good as they were gonna get.For the enchantment side though, that's where things needed to be revamped the most. With his new magical prowess, Dream was obviously able to construct enchantments that were much better than before. So after building up enchantments with Sophia in his mind, they got to work on swapping them out.The first thing they upgraded were the material enhancement devices. With Dream's ne
"Alright! Machines done."Letting out a breath of dense mana, Dream relaxed and overlooked the new addition to the factory. In front of him were thousands of machines. Some produced synthetic diamonds from carbon utilizing ultra high pressures, some produced liquid helium for cooling using sterling engines that cooled the gases, and then those two machines sent their products toward the metallic hydrogen machines that produced tiny little chips of the stuff for use in fusion reactors. While no single machine could make a lot, multiply it hundreds of times over and those supply problems would be solved. Even now, Dream could see dozens of little metallic hydrogen chips being pumped out."Now, we've got our fuel. We just need the reactor."[I've got a good design.]"Then let's make it."Not wasting time, Dream got the schematic from Sophia and pulled some metals over.[This reactor is only about 10 inches in diameter. It'll go on your back, and its shell will be constructed out of the p
*Slap* *Slap*"Ugh... Huh?"Dream awoke from his nap as his cheek was tapped. When he opened his eyes, he could see Luna sitting next to him, looking down at him."Oh good. So my skills do work fine with you.""Huh?""Hehe, I saw your energy levels dip and came to check you out."Luna giggled as Dream sat up. Right now he was back in his human form dressed in sweats and a comfy jacket he liked the texture of. He stretched his neck as he felt his soul."You healed me?""Mhmm. I wasn't sure how good it would work since I haven't tested it with your new body and all, but it seems to work just fine. By the way, what happened to the vessel inside you that contained our energies?"Luna asked as she probed around his soul. Usually she could feel her contract and where the energy went, but now she couldn't, as if it just dispersed into his body."Oh, I got rid of that.""Got rid of it?""Since my control of energy has extended to every energy I know of, there wasn't a need for a complicated s
Several months pass...During this time, the Haven continued developing itself. Although they were totally isolated, by now, there was no shortage of any resource. The economy was booted up, everyone prospered, and it turned into a fully functioning society.New history books were written, magical academies began teaching their students everything they could, and the people slowly started to get a hold of themselves and look to the future. In their hearts, although the Haven was a sanctuary, it was also like a prison. Their place was in the outside world, and everyone hoped that one day they or their children could emerge once more and take back the homes that they once knew. When it came to this fact, Dream was glad that not many knew how the Empires were utterly obliterated.Either way, their development went smooth, and everyone adapted faster than Dream thought they would. Luna wasn't surprised though. Given all the accommodations Dream built, it was only a matter of time. The bou
*Boom!**Crash!*With a blow, a flaming red figure went flying across the colosseum, crashing into the wall and shaking the stands."Hm. Work's better than I expected, though not really when used against people who resist. Maybe I could use this for my machines."Dream, who was still in the center of the stage, mumbled and thought to himself as he looked at the gauntlet around his fist and forearm. This was a device built with the recently acquired mechanical energy manipulation magic, and it was designed to negate and redirect force.Iris, who was on the receiving end of that gauntlet, had gone flying with a single punch. Although she was weak, he was able to gauge its power rather well and concluded that it wasn't that useful in battle."Eh, oh well. Now, I think I'm done. Are you?"Dream's cosmic figure focused on Iris. Around the colosseum, all the other class 4's were strewn about either laying down or sitting up. They had all been exhausted and beaten down by Dream, but Iris, wh
A few weeks after the big battle at the colosseum, Dream was observing the portal that was being built within the demon's empire. He always had Sophia monitoring it, and as of now, it was about 90% complete. There was still one section that wasn't yet built, but it wasn't much, and Dream was planning on enacting his plan within a week or so. Until then though, he was just locked away in his factory, as he had been for most of his days.As Dream floated in the air within a big room within the factory, his cosmic form manipulated strands of mana and gray mist, forming a complex magical network. In the center of this network was Aegis's armor body made of platinum.Dream hadn't used the armor much at all lately, and he had been mainly focused on optimizing it and testing its limits. As they had expected when they first made it, the platinum was indeed more conductive to mana and could store much more. In fact, after messing around with flux ratios to find the highest stable grade, Dream
*Boom!**Thud!*"I cannot be defeated!"When two figures clashed in the air, one was sent several meters down into the earth. It was the devil, and he shouted in annoyance as he flew back out of the trench he created."You measly class 4 dare to reduce me to such a state?!""Are you admitting I'm superior?""Shut up! You cannot possibly fathom the true power of the demons! You're nothing more than a worm in the outer cosmos!"The devil continuously retaliated against Dream's attacks. Unlike the cool and apathetic demeanor he had several hours before though, he was now a raging and impulsive mess. Obviously, he hadn't took too kindly to fighting a battle with an equal and being severely injured.Dream wasn't exactly in the best state either though. The devil truly was equal with Dream. His suit was weakened with its enchantments having been debilitated, and his body was destabilized. Whenever the devil came back with a punch, it would blow a hole in Dream's suit and body which would ta
